Syrian FM: Israel has most to gain from terror attack     Roee Nahmias
1. Muallem sounds like Dichter
Who needs evidence to attach blame. That the Israeli left and Syrian Baathists use the same sort of logic when attaching blame is probably the most revealing aspect of the whole story.

2. Ah-ha! Very clever PR switch
Since they came up empty on the blaming of Israel in this case, now Israel has the "most to gain"...

3. #2 "GLOBAL CITIZEN"
"Global Citizen," give me some examples of America doing something of which you disapprove because it was not in the "interests of the whole world," but rather her own.
Jared ,   New York, USA   (09.28.08)
4. Sure, maybe some "settlers" drove into syria by car.

5. Something of their own medicine...
for change... They have been blowing up their opponents and former allies in Lebanon for over three decades and in recent years had Mughniah and his gang doing their dirty work until he became too much of a liability... Maybe one of Mughniah's "boys" decided to take revenge since his widow accused the syrians of blowing him up before she fled to Iran... However, whenever similar events take place, the syrians and their puppets are quick to blame someone else and who better than Israel...
Batman ,   Gotham city, Lebanon   (09.28.08)
6. What could Israel possibly gain from this?
The Syrians claim Israel did this. However, they do not realize that if the Mossad did this, senior terrorist leaders being sheltered by Syria would be dead instead of civilians. The Syrian Government doesn't want to admit that it has no control over the security situation there so they blame Israel.

7. actually, israel has most to lose
israel actually WANTS the same old incopetent leaders to continue on in syria. why would israel want to kill the dolts and possibly have them replaced with qualified, intelligent human beings? seems syria wants to believe that they are more important than they really are (surprise surprise).
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (09.28.08)
8. WHO NEEDS PROOF? JUST BLEAT "ISRAEL" AFTER ME....
A bunch of pathetic wankers.
(09.28.08)
9. Islamist-JIhadist blame game
The world knows that those who commit such bombing atrocities are Islamist-Jihadists. In fact, in 1983, 241 American peace keepers were blown into smithereens by Islamist-Jihadists. Over the years, Israel has also suffered their atrocities. Daily they commit such atrocities around the world as reported by www.thereligionofpeace.com. Iranian Islamist-Jihadists have killed and maimed thousands of American peace keepers and nation builders in Iraq the past 5 years by such atrocities. Instead of blaming themselves for this atrocity in Syria, the Syrian Foreign Minister has the temerity to blame Israel! Such is the dark mentality of those who have wallowed in the Cesspool of AntiSemitism for generations since their emergence from the Abyss of the Arabian Desert in the 7th century.

10. #3: Jared, what does your ? have to do w/the price of beans?
The Syrians made this comment about Israel. What does my opinion of the US have to do with anything? Look around these boards - the scapegoating Israel for one's own failures is the Islamist MO.
