The Syrians - while paying lip service to peace agreements - continue to arm Hezbollah and build nuclear facilities with North Korean and Iranian help. Good reasons not to trust them and give them nothing. Surely, the Syrians must know that Israel will not permit this to happen. If Israeli intelligence was good enough to take photos from within Syria's most secret site, they already know where these facilities are located. It's just a matter of time before they are also destroyed. And then there is problematic North Korea. Sooner or later they must also learn that it is safer to stay at home.
5. Nice game to play

Let them spend their money in developing somewhat the site, then bomb it again. When they will loose billions after billions they will learn as will learn the Shiite entity when they will be pais likewise for their ugly deeds
6. the same only different

the differences between syria and iran are quite significant. syria does not have huge oil revenues, or uranium ore deposits, or its own homegrown physicists. it is also safe to assume that the mossad can, and does, operate more extensively in syria than in iran. and it's logistically easier for the idf to mount operations in syria. but the biggest difference seems to be that syria isn't run by a bunch of islamist lunatics. bashir assad is not interested in mahdaviat, but has a more pragmatic agenda of using iranian money, and korean technology, to enhance his regime. the good news is that he doesn't seem to be suicidal, so conventional deterrents should be enough to stop him..
