eric ,   jerusalem   (10.12.08)
2. Hope for a miracle, but iranians wouldn't do this for a Jew.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (10.12.08)

Many tumors can be healed if discovered in an early stage .
Charles ,   Petach TIkva   (10.12.08)
4. just spread the word
we pray for the best and israel is doing everything possible, so let's hope that word of this gets out to everyone.
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (10.12.08)
5. My prayers are with the family but...
My wishes for a speedy recovery. However, one thing still bothers me. Would one of our own children receive the same red carpet treatment? I wish I was a nicer person, but I still believe charity begins at home. Until we can all give all children in Israel the red carpet treatment we should not be so generous with others.
Arielush ,   Ramat Ha Golan   (10.12.08)
6. A little child shall lead them?
Most of us have children and want what's best for them. I too pray for this family. Thanks to G-d the Israelis showed compassion and are trying to save his life. Either way, One Iranian father sees the kindness and compassion of the Jews, first hand.
Petra ,   usa   (10.12.08)
7. Iranin patient's father thanks Jews
We all pray for a miracolous cure for your son, and that all the Iranian people will realize that Israel and the Jews are not their enemies.
Millicent ,   Israel   (10.12.08)
8. If he'd said "Israel", he'd have been in trouble
And the Iranian government would have arrested him upon his return. That's why "Jewish people" was the phrase used. Sorry, but he should have gone to a Muslim country or Europe. This is another useless "good will gesture" that just convinces jihadists that we're weak.
David ,   Rehovot   (10.12.08)
9. What is the name of his father:David,,Abraham.Moiz?
The Boy IS IRANIAN JEW Israel has no human value to help Iranians or any other nation You hide name to hide THEY ARE IRANIAN JEWS
Tayfun_Turkey ,   Istanbul   (10.12.08)
10. # 5 I think you are absolutely right.
I wish this child only the best and hope he will survive. But seriously - a Glioblastoma that spread throughout the brain, the CNS and the spinal cord? They should give him pain medication and let him spend some more time with his parents at home. Even before it spreads the chances to survive are hardly more then zero.
Y. ,   Jerusalem   (10.12.08)
11. #9 they didnt release his name
but he is actually muslim
daz ,   los angeles   (10.12.08)
12. Arielush .
Who says that we pay for this ? You know that a rich Iranian Jew arranged this stay here . Maybe he's also paying ? or a NGO ? Do you think that Israelis don't receive the best possible treatement ?
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (10.12.08)
13. #9 You are complete and utter Idiot.
(10.12.08)
14. At least for once let's not mention politics here
It's the right thing to to and there's no conspiracy involved.
Matityahu ,   Slovenia   (10.12.08)
15. Charles
What a question? Of course not! I Israel has some excellent medical professionals however it also has its share of quacks, like any other country. But as you know and I know, quality of care and access to the right medicine and treatments is not available to all Israelis on an equal basis. To get the best medicine and the quickest treatment you need lots money and education..
Arielush ,   Ramat Ha Golan   (10.12.08)
16.  "SALAAM "ACHSHAV
AS A SIGN OF APPRECIATION HE SHOULD HEAD A PEACE ACTIVIST BRANCH OF "SHALOM ACHSHAV"IN IRAN AS HE SAYS "MOST IRANIANS DON"T HATE ISRAEL"HE IS JUST THE MAN TO REMOVE ANY EVIL INTENT OF THOSE WHO WOULD LIKE TO WIPE ISRAEL OFF THE MAP.IT WOULD BE NICE TO HEAR WHAT HIS PRESIDENT HAS TO SAY ABOUT ISRAEL AND ITS "NOBLE DOCTORS AND THEIR GESTURE IN TRYING DESPERATELY TO SAVE THIS LITTLE ONE"S LIFE.PERHAPS HE IS SO DRIVEN BY HATE THAT HE COULDN"T CARE LESS?
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (10.12.08)
17. To #2, Bunnie Meyer
So tell me where do Iran's 20,000 jews go to get treated?
Harry ,   Kansas   (10.12.08)
18. To the father of "iranian" jew boy
speak for yourselve, not for iranians. You are not an iranian.
Mezhad ,   Isfahan   (10.12.08)
19. Israel helps at disasters worldwide
Thr first cargo jet to arrive in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina was 86 tons of food medicines and doctors and divers from Israel . To feed , clothe and give medicine and medical help to Americans. Thank you Israel for blessing our land with your incredibly brave people.
Michael Dutko ,   Toledo usa   (10.12.08)
20. Tayfun_Turkey, your hateful words were not missed
We haven't seen your hateful words here for some time. You were not missed. You write "Israel has no human value to help Iranians or any other nation." Did you make such a claim a few years when an Israeli emergency/rescue team was operating in Turkey following a massive earthquake? Or that Israel offered similar help after an earthquake in Iran but was refused? And, BTW, the boy is *not* Jewish. According to another report, he was accompanied by his father and "veiled mother". Jews don't veil; Muslims do. Crawl back into your hole where you can join Mezhad (#18).
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, DC USA   (10.12.08)
21. Re Boy being Jewish
One of the journalists described the mother as being "veiled". Since Muslim women are the ones who tend to wear schmattas on their heads the odds are pretty good the boy is Muslim!
Marty ,   Toronto Canada   (10.12.08)
22. 21 Marty: In Iran, even Christians wear burkas or
schmattas or they are beaten up. Watch the movie, "Not Without My Daughter" with Sally Field. She was not Muslim but was married to one and was tricked into going to Iran to see her husband's family. He then refused to leave, trapping Betty Maumoudi (true story) and her daughter there who escaped.
Rivkah   (10.12.08)
23. He's in my prayers now.
Simchah Roth ,   Herzliyya   (10.12.08)
24. #20 my comment were not for you
stupid american, keep out your nose of all affairs.
Mezhad ,   Isfahan   (10.12.08)
25. My prayers are for this boy's brain and the hearts....
of the Iranian people. May their hearts be flushed of their hatred for us. It is this family's obligation to work for change in Iran. I pray that the Iranians give us choices - choices to spread our love - as we did here - so as not to have to impose the whistle and smack of some bunker buster bombs on their nuke facilities. Israel can make love or war equally well. Please God let them act in a way to allow us to make choices of love.
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (10.12.08)
26. #18 - change your ways or get ready....
for utter destruction in Isfahan and other places in Iran. If you even survive the attack - you will be begging for tools to clean up the rubble and bury your dead. Work for peace - it's not too late.
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (10.12.08)
27. #26 we won´t change the way
We will have nuclear weapons and we will change the course in middleast, forever.
Mezhad ,   Isfahan   (10.12.08)
28. iIF THEIR P.M NEEDED AN OPERATION?
WE WOULD BE DAFT ENOUGH TO TREAT THIS "HAMAN"AND GET HIM BETTER WOULDN"T WE?
ROLAND SEENER ,   LONDON ENGLAND   (10.12.08)
29. £àthere will be a time
bruno ,   bouxwiller france   (10.12.08)
30. for Mezhad; there will be a time
when the justice of God reigns and people like you won't exist any longer. there will be no peace for the idol worshippers (nuclear has become the god of Iran ). you and your beloved president will not change anything. it will be like an evil taste of the past.
bruno ,   bouxwiller france   (10.12.08)
