First of all, they are not settlers, but Israelies. Historically speaking, settlers are Arabs. Second, unfortunately they will have guns and if the past teached us anything, they will use them but not on Hamas.
4. If any Jew is killed by one of these terrorist

Yes, now the Arab terrorists with Uzi machine guns have been deployed in Hebron.....you are so right! You have no idea of the situation.....just the propaganda that you read so fervently! Give it up, you only make yourself look ignorant.
7. #3,6 Yes! neither are they settlers nor illegal armed groups

I don't think that Israel gives a damn to the UN's legitimacy imparted on its creation because Hebron was never recognized Jewish by the UN. Even the UN partition plan didn't include Hebron in the Jewish state.
8. Hevron
David ,   USA   (10.25.08)
Who cares what the US, UN, or even the sick secular government of Israel says? The fact is that Hevron is the burial place of the Fathers. Aside from Yerushalayim, there is no place more Jewish or more Israel than Hevron. Our Fathers must be deeply saddened to see the enemies of Israel deploying in Hevron on Shabbat. Those responsible must give account to One much greater than the US or UN or the likes of Olmert.
9. #8 166,000 Palestinians and around 500 Jewish settlers

Herod the Great built the wall around the Tomb of Abraham, rebuilt the second Temple and re-expanded it. Herod was Arab on both maternal and paternal sides. Saladin, the Great Islamic Leader, took Hebron from the Crusaders in 1187, and changed the name of the city back to Al-Khalil. During the 1929 riots, 435 Jews survived by virtue of the shelter and assistance offered them by their Arab neighbors.
10. Good first step
Ron Morris   (10.25.08)
Hebron is not a Jewish city. It is populated by far more arabs. And these are police men. If a settler gets shot, I am sure it is because he is caught breaking the law.

Firstly herod maybe was arab but there were no muslims. #2 king david ruled in hebron for 7 years, the jewish revolt saw the recapturing of hebron as recorded by Josephus. The name was not "changed back" as it was never al kahlil. The muslim's were racist rulers and forbade the jews to pray in machpela. You fail to mention that the 1929 riots were started and carried out by arab mobs.. I have no proof of arabs sheltering anyone and the riotiong was stopped when a jew grabbed a british policeman's gun and fired in the air. The facts stand that hebron always was and always will be a jewish city.
