What Yerach (#57) says about KJ is true - Rav Lookstein and KJ are very big in the whole conversion issue as far as the US Orthodox Rabbinate is concerned and were among the forefront of American Orthodox Rabbis protesting the decision to undo all conversions done after 1999 that had some effect on American RCA conversions.

Although it's a nice gesture on daughter Trump's part to pursue this conversion. She should know that this is not an Orthodox conversion, her children will not be considered Jewish, nor will she be considered Jewish by those who respect Halacha (Traditional Jewish Law). Making aliyah when her father's empire crumples (G-d Forbid) like the rest of the American economy will not be an option. This synagogue is the Mother of all conservative shuls, they play musical instruments on Shabbat and they pray in a church with their female Rabbis. A pleasant crowd but led by people who are spiritually amiss.

A real orthodox conversion should take years. Conversion should not be easy . We'll see how legit her conversion is....and as Jews we should all be united...Reform Conservative so what...no one should be allowed to convert just so that they can get married. An Orthodox Jew shouldn't even date someone that is not Jewish...how Orthodox can they really be? I know people that have tried converting to Reform...it's been five years and they are still trying...so in my opinion Ivanka can never truely be Jewish.

Ivank couldn't find a better guy than Jared and Jared couldn't find a better girl than Ivanka. This is their bashert. I personall knows them very well and especially the Kushner company. Indeed she wouldn't drem to become Jewish if Jared was not dating her. Both are very smart, well educated. I never saw such a love in my life. This couple are matched in heaven, this is their bashert and we have to believe this supposed to be like this. Ivanka is a very devoted girl, she took a big step to become Jewish, she is very seriously taking this challenge. She goes every shabbat to temple, she participate alll holidays in temple. Ate in the Sukah. When I look at both of them they look like a sister and brother, like from the same family. They blend so nice. They are very attractive couple and we all should welcome a professional, good hearted girl in our jewish community. You have to know her to see how unique she is. Looks like she was born to be Jewish. I am sure that she will become a good role model to the Jewish community. Mazal Tov to both of them

That is if Jared wants a Jewish family. Ivanka's only "converting" to marry Jared which is not allowed in Orthodox conversions. We obviously know the Rabbi is getting a big payoff from the Kushner family. If Jared marries Ivanka than he's family won't be Jewish and that's the choice he made and he shouldn't force the Jewish community to accept Ivanka. Jared knew the rules and he broke them so let him suffer the consquences. I don't even think Jared is really an observant Jew anyway. It's all for show because if Jared was a real observant Jew he would have never dated Ivanka in the first place! Ivanka will never be a real Jew!
