In the late 1970's, i got to know Avner Kvashnah (changed, I guess, from Kavshana) as he was a vendor to my employer. We became quite friendly, and he always kidded me that despite our 30-40 difference in age, we both had one thing in common: we both found our wives at Kibbutz Afikim! I understand that he passed away in the meantime, He was quite a personality..and a mensch. A strong resemblance to his Dad... Olav v'shalom...
