How can Olmert possibly prefer Bibi? He says time is running out. That the world is turning against us (which seems obvious to anyone at a uni campus anywhere in europe and increasingly in the US). So how can he hope that a man who will take Israel in the opposite direction will take over? Even if he respects him as a manager and leader... one cannot dream of supporting those advocating the opposite view. I cannot imagine Olmert has any true desire to see Bibi win, respect or not.

May I remind everyone that the vote is about a party and its ideology. Years ago there was a vote for prime minister and another ballot for representative parties in the Knesset. We do not vote for Bibi or Ehud specifically. The parties which they head have lost their reason for existence and have no reasonable ideology. It's about time they tell the voter about the party, what it hopes to accomplish, its goals, and how these goals are to be accomplished so that the voter can make his decision based on some reasonable criteria.
