1. Olmert may respect Bibi but nobody respects him
He is one of the most crooked politicians in Israel and that is saying a lot.
I hope that he spends a long time in jail for his crimes.
The damage that moron has done to us is criminal

2. Olmert, Livni, and Netanyahu were together for many years
in the Likud Party, so it is not surprising Olmert still has ties and respect for Netanyahu. Such perilous times are coming, and there is such hostility toward Mrs. Livni that they would be more likely to attack than if someone they feared more like Mr. Netanyahu was the head of state. He has made mistakes in trading land for peace and I hope he has learned from that not to trust the Palestinians who want no Israel on the map, not a piece of Israel.

3. ohlmert

4. Almost all of anti Olmert sentiment was manufactured.
Ask yourselves the question was he really so bad, was he so corrupt? I think you will find if you are honest with yourself you have been brainwashed, duped, suckered. In truth Olmert did most things well and right except for one thing his ministers. He chose Peretz,Tamir Hirchson, Livni and Mofaz a poorer bunch of ministers is hard to find.

5. #4 - yes he really was and is so bad!
He is the most investigated PM in Israel's history and will more than likely go to jail.
He brought shame on the nation.
Israel lost almost all of its deterrence because of Olmert and history will not speak well of him.

8. olmert get your few supporters to back Bibi
Then why doesn't he make up for nearly three years of failure and brining misery to Israel and encourage the few Israelis who do still support you tell them for vote for Natenyahu it would fo along way towards redemption for all the suffering Olmerts Kadima has brought to Israel.
Other than that the man should stop giving speeches, he has no mandate to negotiate anything he is a lame duck and the public don't back him or his ideas so help Bibi win the election if possible and just shut up about politics.

It doesnt matter what the police do Mazuz will never prosecute Olmert.
Moshe Katsav should be in jail for rape but instead he cut a deal with Mazuz.
Suspended sentence on sexual harasment charges ( no jail )
Get offices in a prime location in Tel Aviv paid for by tax payers
He gets a private secretary paid for by tax payers.
He gets a luxury car paid for by tax payers.
He gets 24 hour security provided by Shin Bet and paid for by tax payers.
He gets his presidential pension.
Moshe Katsav gets more out of the Israeli taxpayers now he has been disgraced thah he was getting as president.
He gets all these perks at tax payer expense but he doesnt even have to do anything to earn them simply as an EX president he is entitled to all of this even if the only reason he isnt president anymore was because he was forced out as part of the deal to avoid being charged with rape.
Olmerts going to do a deal with the worthless atourney general Menahem Mazuz he wont be charged with a thing instead he will go on the left wing anti Israel lecture circuit and earn millions and legaly.

10. Olmert helped Barak win in 1999
by stating during the election campaign that Barak won't divide Jerusalem. Then, Bibi lost the PM seat.
I guess Olmert is kind of sorry that Barak didn't return the favor.

15. Prefers Bibi?
How can Olmert possibly prefer Bibi? He says time is running out. That the world is turning against us (which seems obvious to anyone at a uni campus anywhere in europe and increasingly in the US). So how can he hope that a man who will take Israel in the opposite direction will take over? Even if he respects him as a manager and leader... one cannot dream of supporting those advocating the opposite view. I cannot imagine Olmert has any true desire to see Bibi win, respect or not.

16. PARTY IDEOLOGY!!!
May I remind everyone that the vote is about a party and its ideology. Years ago there was a vote for prime minister and another ballot for representative parties in the Knesset. We do not vote for Bibi or Ehud specifically. The parties which they head have lost their reason for existence and have no reasonable ideology.
It's about time they tell the voter about the party, what it hopes to accomplish, its goals, and how these goals are to be accomplished so that the voter can make his decision based on some reasonable criteria.
The voter is not stupid. Stop treating the voter as an ignoramous!!!
