1. Put a few drops of peppermint oil on painful tooth and gum
area of infection a few times a day. Sometimes that clears up the problem since the peppermint oil kills the bacteria it reaches.

2. Idiotic YNet
YNet is the epitome of the self-hating Jew - always ready to "show up" the one who thinks differently to him.
Belt up!

3. Every Day Is Before Shabbat
The calendar is a cycle. Sunday precedes Saturday by six days. This ruling is worthless.
Better you should listen to laws on avoiding suffering. If you need dental work, or any other treatment for health related issues, you have it done.

5. Why does ynet have so many halachic announcements?
I don't get it. There are very few people who are looking to read about halachic matters from ynet.

6. Such Nonsense
Why even print such utter nonsense? These"Rabbis" come up with such crazy stuff all the time anyway, the next thing they will say is don't eat spicy foods before the Sabbath because they can cause stomach problems! Remember folks these are the same people who if they could convince their followers to have the women completely covered head to toe they would!

7. Wisdom,if you're not born with it !!!
Rabbi Melamed is in the same class as rabbi Aviner, (you know the dating expert.),an idiot. Maybe it's not his fault. Maybe ALL his WISDOM teeth were removed ( without his consent ) when he was 6 months old.

8. Easy, religious Jews at dentist Sunday to Tuesday, secular
Jews get dental work Wednesday to Friday.
Of course if you are a dentist in Mea Shearim, your income will go down.

11. lobotomy
the "learned" halachic sage should have a lobotomy on Friday...by Saturday he will be totally unaware that he had undergone it, and it may even save us all from further insane pronouncements from him

13. I think the dentist wants to get home in time for shabbat
too!!! This is SO ynet and m'yootar'. Who in their right mind would muck up their shabbat UNLESS ITS AN EMERGENCY.

14. And even more rants from yet another Rabbi
It's OK - they have all week to have dental treatment - they don't work. Everyday for them is a Shabbat.

What about us seculars? Living with the religious lot is like having a tooth extracted every day,..........without Novocaine.

You are a constant belly ache too. Inferiority complex, anyone? Shabbat observers are mostly happy people, and that plus the fact that your boring blah blah acid indigestion comments mean absolutely nothing( to anyone) KILLS yu, don't it! Take Losec, its really good for regurgitation. I asked a religious doctor on your behalf, ha ha.

19. Rabbinic silliness
I am of the understanding that rabbis were Torah mavens. Here in the US we have rabbis who believe they are comedians. So they really aren't funny. In Israel apparently you have rabbis who design their own Torahs to fit whatever enters their minds. No double dates, don't go to dentist erev Shabbat, ladies cover your forearms even though the temperature is a sweltering 100 degrees F.
Rabbis do us a favor, stick to the Torah. Teach what is there, forget about your own interpretation.
