2. Go ahead make it easier to divorce..
and in 15-25 years when you'll all look back at this social mess, you'll wonder why.
After I gave my ex some 70K it took her exactly 2 years to blow it on nothing.
Today she whines up a storm, only this time I don't give a damn.
Oh well!
You wonder why it called a Get...Its short for "GET THE F OUT OF MY LIFE AND MY POCKET".
There I feel better, now what am I going to eat for breakfast?

3. More Media Spin
In an article from this very news outlet we saw that there were more women refusing to cooperate with divorces than men - because the rabbinate insists on imposing the herem d'rabbeinu gershom on everyone - even if they aren't ashkenazi. While I find the problem of agunot heart wrenching, its not just men extorting women, but women extorting men as well. Its time for the rabbinate to be reigned in or run over. They don't provide any services our local orthodox rabbinic aren't competent to provide and they've proven utterly toothless - there is an entirely different shita that was held by the talmud, goanim, and vast majority of the rishonim allowing them to force a get. Instead, because of the concern of a single rishon - a minority that goes against a tidal wave of opposing opinion - they are reduced to impotence.

4. The Patriarch Abraham sent Hagar and Ishmael away with a
bottle of water in the Scriptures, but Jewish scholars believe that Abraham must have supported her since Hagar became his wife after the death of Sarah. Hagar's name was changed to Keturah which indicates her salvation with the "Ah" or breath sound of God breathing eternal life into her soul. Sarai's name changed to Sarah when she was saved.
If you don't provide for your own, you have denied the faith, the Bible says. It is a sad day when the government has to tell religious husbands to provide for their own.
Bible teacher Mike Murdock talks about his divorce early in life that left him impoverished. He is now very well off, but I wonder if he would have been successful if he denied the faith in not providing for his first wife when she left him. Bible teacher Charles Stanley's wife left him against his wishes, but he provided for her even though that broke his heart.

6. 5 Gabriela: I am not Hareidi, but the chemicalization of
change takes time. Departing from the old paths should be undertaken with the greatest of caution since the Prophet Jeremiah said to follow the old paths wherein is the good way. If there had not been an abuse of God's authority vested in the husband, this law would not have been necessary. I understand the reluctance of those who do not want a divorce because God hates divorce. The Prophet Malachi said God hates divorce because he wants righteous offspring. Divorce often causes the children to depart from the old paths of right that Jeremiah spoke of. The children get angry and rebellious and often blame themselves for a divorce.
