2. They give Arabs 48 hours and Jews less than 5 minutes
Very telling. How many rioters were arrested - zero. No calls for cracking down on Arab rioters but should a Jew say that the police were doing illegal acts we have the Police Commissioner and the PM calling for a pogram.

3. Arab Rioters
How many of the stone-throwing Arab rioters were arrested?
Where are the voices in the Knesset calling for an inquiry into and strong measures against Arab rioters?
But Noam and Miriam Federman are arrested when police come in the middle of the night to demolish their home.

4. Heartless criminals !
Mohammed Siam asks "what kind of person destroys someones home ?"
The answer is, the same type of people how drove 750,000 people from their lands and homes and then stole their businesses and farms and took up residence in their homes. These are their descendants who learn at their mothers bitter tit.

6. Hypocrites
When Jews peacefully protest the extrajudicial destruction of the Federman home, the Kadima regime sent the violent and unidentifiable YSM troops to beat the protestors, including children. Kadima ministers hysterically condemned the Jews.
When an Arab house is destroyed after all judicial processes were followed, the owners attack the police with rocks and firebombs. Kadima ministers have nothing to say.
On a side note, the Arabs were given 48 hours to evacuate their home while the Jews were given only 6 minutes.

7. The police passivity encourages crimes in the Arab sector...
The police passivity encourages crimes in the Arab sector in Israel.
The police's permissive behavior is the reason of the impertinence of the lawless Arabs. In Arab neighborhoods in Jerusalem, as in the Beduin settlements in the Negev and the Arab cities and villages in the Galilee, the police simply refuse to enforce the law. They do not patrol the streets. They do not arrest religious, educational and political leaders who solicit terrorism or incite hatred. They do not enforce building laws. They do not protect state and privately owned land from squatters. Today some 90 percent of Arab construction in Israel is carried out without permits. Whole towns in the Negev have been built on stolen state land. Rather than enforce the law, the police does nothing. More at : http://xrl.us/bi3hx

How about teaching them Hebrew? They live in Israel and do not speak the language, but they want equal rights.
I came from Europe to live here and learned Hebrew. How can you live in Israel for years and not learn Hebrew? This is not assimilation.

There were no land purchases, no anti-Jewish riots following them and no wars started by Arabs. Poor little "religion of peace" people. How sad.

12. 1 Token Demolition
What a joke ,after they demilish the homes of fellow Jews in Hevron this is done to make it look like the cowards of Kadima are serving equal justice.
There are thousands of illegal structures in East Jerusalem and 1 token demilition is a joke .
What about the homes of the Islamic killers in East Jerusalem .they're still standing after all the hot air and empty words from Barak about razing them.

You, like most israelifirsters prefer the myth, prefer to live in a collective bubble of denial and self-delusion.
Come on Bill they didnt "buy it", they stole it and they are still stealing it.
just like the "home of the free" they are following the model perfected in America and visiting a slow genocide on the INDIGEONUS Palestian people.

14. Sean , Derry/Ireland #13 You are full of it
Try learning the facts and stop repeating Arab propaganda.
We did buy the land, the locals didn't own it. Over 80% of the land is government land, yet the Arabs are stealing it and building homes where streets are to run. No wonder they can't get a permit for land they don't own.
There was no driving of Arabs. The only ethnic cleansing was by the Arabs of the NATIVE Jews. Arabs are not native, they come from Arabia.
Listen to the Arabs calls to kill the Jews, that is genocide.
But a stupid racist like you is like talking to a wall, since you have about the same level of intelligence.
Why don't you go back to murdering other Christians and leave us alone?

16. "peaceful coexistence"?
in any normal country, illegal buildings are demolished without protests and without the intervention of human rights groups.
by all international laws, israel has the legal authority and responsibility to enforce law and order in jerusalem.
in answer to mohammed siam, what kind of people move a family into a house the day before it is scheduled to be demolished? was he trying to cheat them out of their rent money, or was he just trying to score cheap propaganda points?
this isn't "peaceful coexistence" but a relentless propaganda war to usurp the land of the jews and its eternal capital, jerusalem.

17. Have you ever heard the story about
Palestinians being Syrians? And the reason Palestinians are in fact Syrians? And assad is still waiting for the day to bring the Syrians back together? Or are you still oblivious why Syria cares so much about Libanon and Hizbulah? It goes all the way back to the year 1920.
If not than shut up about indigeonus palestinians and get your head out of abbas' behind.

18. They aren't "PALESTINIANS" if they're living in Jerusalem.
They are Israeli-Arabs. Stop trying to insinuate your leftist politics into supposedly objective journalism unless it's the opinion section, if you please. They're no more "Palestinian" than Arabs living in Yafo.
P.S. -- Nobody mentioned all the family photos on the fridge at the Federman home and all the other family photos and tricycles, etc plowed under with no warning in the middle of the night. I'm sure they had a few more things and might have been a bit more established as opposed to the Arabs who the neighbor attested moved in "the day before" and the *sob* "widow with two children" the angry illegal building owner trumped up ("uh...where are they? who are they?...uh...I dunno").

19. # 13
I'm not an Israeli-firster. I'm a truth-firster. Even Rashid Khalidi of Columbia U. spoke of the land purchases even if you deny them. I'm also not going to overlook the evidence of Arab migration into Palestine during and after the Mandatory period and the complete lack of a Palestinian identity in the Arab world prior to the Six Day War. There is simply no comparrison between these phonies and the Native Americans who have languages, cultures, religons, places of historical and religious import all native to the land that was historically their own.
By the way, what did I say that was "racist"? Using that term to coerce me into not criticizing a religion responsible for so much bloodshed in the world won't affect me in the least. And for the record, I do believe that Christians today are more peaceful than Muslims. Would so many Muslims move to Europe if they thought the Europeans shared the same mentality as the Crusaders? I don't think so.

20. Life in the Park
Furniture is placed in one building the prior day but no one lived in it; in the other unfinished structure a family moves in it also the day before. Coincidence? A PR created scam ?
The land is zoned for a park. Why were any buildings allowed to be erected ?

21. Better to raze their homes than homes of jewish settlers
Nice to see the police doing their job for a change.
I'd really like to know why the home of the terrorist who murdered 8 teenagers at Mercaz Harav Yeshiva was not razed yet. Or why the homes of the tractor terrorists who trampled dozens of Israelis have not been razed yet.
Perhaps if the govt stops wasting manpower on razing the homes of Jewish settler patriots, it would be much easier to raze the homes of terrorists and deter future terrorists.

because of this apparthied policy of demolishing homes , and that is exactly what israel is trying to do to the palestinians , less homes to live in so they can leave east jerusalem and move to the westbank , and its a policy that is working well , after all if i cannot find an appartment , they give us no other choice but to move from the city ,

24. My parents had four homes demolished in imminent domain
procedures to put in a parking lot for the University Medical Center in Tucson which was illegal. Using imminent domain laws to destroy homes to put in a parking lot was illegal; but my parents lost their homes, anyway.
Lots of governments are in the business of demolishing homes for various reasons. In Mexico, homes are demolished if oil is discovered on the property. PEMEX owns Mexico's oil and when it is found, PEMEX takes the property. In Mexico, people can build a home on property that does not belong to anyone else; but if oil is found, the government takes the property back. Israel might need a law like Mexico has since property is too expensive for most people to purchase to build on.
