If the majority of this allegedly democratic country vote right wing, as they did in the last election, then doesn't that necessarily by definition mean that anyone who is left is "extremist" and a fringe element?

If a right wing government wins this election it is because they have chosen the route of thuggery and murder. They plucked a shining gem from the left wing's constellation, a giant in Israeli history. A master general and warrior, a master statesman, surrounded by dear friends Like Shimon Peres who all strove towards bringing Israel closer to peace. Were it not for his efforts, we would be at war today. And to know that the next political assasination is right around the corner means one thing. Now Barak courts the Arab vote, but he was responsible for the shooting deaths of 12 Arab civilians in Nahal Iron as well as innocent Lebanese: 120 civilians in "Din ve Heshbon" and 170 in "Grapes of Wrath" Now Barak talks about Gilad Shalit and caring for soldiers, but he is responsible for the murder of Madhat Yussuf and apparently for Israel's defeat in the battle of Sultan Ya'akob Barak now blames everyone for Israel's defeat in Lebanon II, but he was the one who betrayed the SLA, a vile act of treachery which allowed Hezbolla to take over Lebanon and defeat Israel with 150 deaths. Barak talks of democracy, but after he was kicked out of being PM, he started negotiations with Arafat, bringing the Oslo II war with its 1057 Israeli deaths. He talks of "rule of law" but is accused of the greatest violations of election funding laws in 2000.

If Barak were to resign or be fired from his position as Defence Minister ,the country would continue running on just the same as if nothing happened.In other words nobody would miss him.Barak is so useless he even makes Olmert look like a king and a Tzaddik in comparison.
