1. Get some Perspective
5th Nov 2008.
1 . In its resolution 62/109, the General Assembly expressed grave concern about … the continuing systematic violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people by Israel, the occupying Power, including that arising from the excessive use of force, the use of collective punishment, the reoccupation and closure of areas, the confiscation of land, the establishment and expansion of settlements, the construction of the wall inside the Occupied Palestinian Territory in departure from the Armistice Line of 1949, the destruction of property and infrastructure, and all other actions by it designed to change the legal status, geographical nature and demographic composition of the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem. It also expressed concern about the continued establishment of Israeli checkpoints in the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem and about the Israeli policy of closures, severe restrictions, and a permit regime that obstruct the movement of persons and goods, including medical and humanitarian personnel and goods, throughout the Occupied Palestinian Territory, including East Jerusalem, and about the consequent violation of the human rights of the Palestinian people and negative impact on their socio-economic situation, which remains that of a dire humanitarian crisis.
2. The General Assembly also expressed deep concern about the vast destruction caused by the Israeli occupying forces, including of religious, cultural and historical sites, of vital infrastructure and institutions of the Palestinian Authority, and of agricultural land throughout Palestinian cities, towns, villages and refugee camps, and about the short- and long-term detrimental impact of such destruction on the socio-economic and humanitarian conditions of the Palestinian civilian population.

3. Palestian self-defence
IDF operation in the Gaza Strip and rocket firing at Israel: I
n the night of 4-5 November, six Palestinians were killed and seven others injured, including two civilians, in the first large-scale Israeli military operation in Gaza since the 19 June ceasefire. According to the IDF, during the Israeli military incursion into Gaza, the IDF destroyed a tunnel leading to the border between Gaza and Israel, which could have been utilized for military attacks on Israel.
On the eve of 4 November, an IDF reconnaissance unit entered Deir el-Balah in central Gaza Strip. Armed clashes broke out between Palestinian militants and Israeli forces. During the first clash, one Palestinian militant was killed and five others injured; four IDF soldiers were also injured. In addition, a Palestinian house was destroyed, and seven of its 23 inhabitants were detained, including several women, one of whom was injured. During the clashes, the IDF demolished green houses, a poultry farm, and water well. Another house was occupied and used as a military post. In retaliation, Palestinian militants fired rockets and mortars towards Israel—some of which landed inside Gaza; no Israeli casualties were reported. Israel fired a missile east of Khan Younis at a group of militants manning a rocket launcher, killing five Palestinians. The clashes continued until the Israeli forces withdrew from Gaza in the early morning hours of 5 November. Qassam fire from Gaza towards Israel continued on 5 November (beyond the reporting period).

4. Israel - Stop arming your enemies!
As long as Hamas works to wipe Israel off the map, Israel should not send a drop of fuel to them. Every liter of diesel sent to Gaza is another dead Israeli. The Arab terrorists have no respect for their sworn enemy, because Israel has been run by cowards.
Cut off all assistance to the terrorists - that is the only way to stop the torture of Israelis in Sderot.

5. Horror of occupation continues
IDF operations in the West Bank: Though the total number of IDF searches this week remained close to the 2008 weekly average (109 vs. 105), there was a sharp increase in the northern areas (84 vs. 72). IDF search-and-arrest operations often result in injuries to civilians and property damage. On 29 October, the IDF killed a 67-year-old Palestinian from Yamun village (Jenin governorate) during an overnight search operation; he was allegedly carrying a firearm. Witnesses claim he was investigating voices heard within the vicinity of his livestock. On 2 November, in Far'a Refugee Camp (Tubas governorate), two Palestinian men and one 11-year-old boy were injured with live ammunition during a large IDF operation in the camp. A 19-hour curfew was imposed. According to the IDF, the operation aimed at arresting a senior Al-Quds Brigades leader. In the south, on 30 October, fifteen students from the Palestine Technical College in Al Arrub Refugee Camp (Hebron governorate) were arrested and two employees of the college were physically assaulted during an IDF search operation in the college. The college was closed for the remainder of the day. On 31 October, the IDF searched three houses in the camp and arrested one Palestinian.

6. Poor Palestine
29th Oct - 4th Nov
Settler violence following outpost evacuation: During the reporting period Israeli settlers from the settlement of Kharsina (Hebron governorate), carried out reprisal attacks against Palestinians following the evacuation of the Federmen Farm outpost. Masked settlers attacked two Palestinian homes near the removed outpost. Seven Palestinians were injured including three journalists and a 95-year-old woman. Physical and material damages were sustained by the two homes. The Israeli Police initially removed the newly constructed structures after clashes with the Israeli-settlers resulting in the injury of eight Israeli policemen. Seven settlers, including five females, were arrested. Settlers rebuilt the outpost which was destroyed subsequently by the police.
This week, two Israeli-settlers were injured in clashes with the IDF, and all injuries incurred by Israeli military forces in the West Bank this week (eight) were inflicted by Israeli-settlers.

7. Suggestion Richard #1, #3
Take your UN General Assembly Resolutions and put them where the sun never shines.
There is not one single law in the entire world that says that a nation must supply their attackers with anything at all.
As for the so-called self-defense, guess what it's called a war-crime since it is aimed at civilians. And the answer to a war-crime is to kill the war-criminals where-ever they reside that is international law.
You will never convience a single person here, so why bother? Why don't you get British troops and citizens out of the lands that they occupy. Say Northern Ireland, Gibralter, Malvinas, Wales, and Scotland for a start?

8. Hamas in its own words.
In January 2006 the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas won almost two-thirds of the seats in the Palestinian Authority parliamentary elections. The Hamas charter calls for the extermination of Jews as well as the destruction of Israel as an Islamic necessity. Its goal remains the destruction of Israel, and that the preferred means it chooses is continued “resistance” and Jihad, the PA euphemisms for terrorism. A statement made by Ahmad Yassin, founder and former head of Hamas, who was killed by Israel was made in response to Israel’s plan to evacuate Israeli towns in Gaza Strip in 2005. The message was that the Palestinians had found the key to destroying Israel. Since terror was forcing Israel to leave its towns in the Gaza Strip, the Palestinians would now only have to keep up the terror in Israel’s other cities and Israel would run from those as well. 9. International law and Gaza.
-Gaza is lacking any independent sovereignty and the use of military force is, in that case permissible. Israel imposition of economic sanctions on the Gaza Strip is a perfectly legal means of responding to terrorist attacks as Israel has no legal obligation to engage in trade with Gaza as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi5wp

Agency, as 'First Responder' to Middle East Flare-Ups, Shoulders
Humanitarian Burden in Occupied Palestinian Territory, Despite Funding Gap
The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) had never before coped with major crises in three fields of operations simultaneously, the Agency's head said this morning, stressing that the depth of the humanitarian crisis in Gaza and the West Bank over the past two years dwarfed earlier calamities and carried alarming economic and human costs.
Calling UNRWA a "first responder" to crises in the Middle East and a source of protection for the refugee community, as the Fourth Committee (Special Political and Decolonization) launched its annual consideration of the Agency's work, Commissioner-General Karen Koning AbuZayd said that UNRWA was shouldering the major burden of providing humanitarian assistance in the Occupied Palestinian Territory. More than four and a half million refugees were voluntarily registered with the Agency, representing an increase of 30 per cent from a decade ago.
The observer for Palestine said UNRWA, as a constant in the refugees' lives, had played an indispensable role in easing their suffering throughout years of conflict and displacement. While its programmes focused on education, health and social services, the Agency also provided hope and "some semblance of human dignity", particularly in the Gaza Strip where the situation was severe as result of Israel's ongoing punitive siege and frequent military assaults.

12. Did U.S. send Bin Laden fuel, food, water & electricity?
Answer: No, No, No, No, and No again. Why not? America's leaders are not as stupid as Israel's leaders, and the American people would not put up with such treason the way Israelis put up with it. No wonder the world has lost respect for Israel.

How smug you sound from such an awfully safe distance sir! Try living with rockets which fall at random in your city and then write again. Oh yes, I guess that England is totally blamless - you never conquered territory in India and at what cost and now that you have given it back are you supplying India with oil, electricity, or anything else? What about the colonies in Africa and lets not even start on what happened in Ireland! So I would respectfully suggest that you Get Some Perspective, leave us to our own Self Defence and remember your own War Crimes.

19. To Richard from London
The Israel democratic State was born in 1948.Over 60 years ago.Jerusalem belongs to Israel. What occupied territories are you talking about? War is the only way they have to make their living. If Palestinians stopped firing rockets and sponsoring terrorist organizations, they will be in very good socio-economic-humanitarian conditions-Tell their warriors to stop planting their launchers among the civilian population-There won´t be casualties.Tell Hezbolla, Hamas, Jihad to create a democratic Palestinian State soon.War is the only way to earn their miserable living. They were born to kill, to be trained since childhood, to hate. Why don{t you visit an Israeli home and an Islamic home?Where on earth would you chose to live in?Making war, or living in a nice home?Where would you send your children to be educated? To a Moslem school? What kind of children would you have then? Terrorists?Come on, give me a break. It seems that blood is thicker than water. Is it not?And finally, what are you doing here, in this site : Muslim propaganda? You have several terror sponsored web-sites. Go there for good.!!!!!

20. To Mr AKA
Why don´t you advise UNRWA to teach Palestinian how to go to hard-work to create and support a democratic state instead? You sound and qwrite as aa schollar. Get involved then in MAKING PEACE.Jewells in the desert like Israel take a lot of hard work, discipline , education. I doubt about the UNRWA educating and giving dignity. It doesn{t show good results. They don´t deserve dignity until they put their terrorism-sponsored weapons down. The world knows the facts. So, save your time .Stop spreading your extremist message. It won´t work-You are a drop of bitter water in a beautiful blue sea.
