What this article doesn't go into is the part about allowing the return of the Palestinian refugees, and two generations after them, to Israel within the 67 borders. Also the deal is non negotiable, so as soon as we move forward it's giving land (to 67 borders) and not getting normalized relations because we could never agree to the refugees coming into Israel pre 67, and maintain Israel's Jewish identity. In short the ball is in their court, need to change the Refugee part, till then we can't even consider looking at it. Its a total surrender of the Jewish state.

they don't have to do anything to have peace. what they want is more land now and to finish off the rest of israel once the demographics make it possible. however, unless they can show that they are defeating the israelis, the palestinian arabs will lose patience dump them and establish hamastan #2 on the west bank. this is a desparate attempt to show their "slow but steady" path to victory over the jews is working as opposed to hamas's idea of "victory now".

Why are either the newspapers or the politicians allowing the PLO to start taking out adverts in Israeli newspapers promoting a political plan in an attempt to influence the outcome of an Israeli election. In any other westernised country the government would be telling the papers they are not allowed to let enemies publish political adds especialy if the aim is at influencing the outcome of elections. Israel becomes more and more of an embaresment to the jewish people every day. Everything that the founders of the jewish sate dreamed of are either dead or dying because our politicians have become so obsessed with the idea of peace at any price and surrender rather than fighting for the intersts of the country as a whole. If this is how we run the country these days do we even deserve to keep it. The arabs want to take Israel from the jews by force but they are willing to blow themselves up in the name of their cause and they never surrender on even the smallest issues while all Israels red lines have been crossed in the name of the peace process. The peace process is proovng itself to be the object thats taking Israel along the path of destruction but we embrace it, Jews worldwide should be condeming everything Israel has become and demand we go back to basics.

Sad that YNet has chosen to use the word "educate". Sure to bring the usual collection of rabid commentators out to say that there is nothing that the Palestinians can teach Israelis (actually more likely they will use the same sentence but with the terms Arabs and Jews). Nothing in the public statements by the Palestinians responsible for this talks of educating Israelis. They talk of communicating and approaching directly. It would have been better to use the term "reach out"; but that wouldn't fit with the editorial line, I fear.

If there is a ball in anyone's court it is a snow ball. This peace plan will not stand up for a full year. It will melt away like a snowman in springtime. Arabs are morally biased against Jews. They need to get used to the idea Judaism is here, is staying here and has an infinite future in Jerusalem. A future that will mean most muslims today will have to revise some of their beliefs. First of all the belief that all Jews must convert to Islam in order to be justified by faith in this world. Only Jews can prove to Arabs that Jews are right about this. We are not required to convert to Islam to be justified to be Israeli citizens either. Forget this peace plan. It will never happen. Israel is not going to retreat to 1967 frontiers. It would be a disaster for the whole world. Arabs are going to make peace with arabs and by this I mean they are going to be rational about the constitutional role of Islam and Islamic policy making bodies. Arab countries need to talk about harmonizing their political science. Arabs need to implore Palestinians to negotiate with Israel non-violently. Israel will stand for nothing less. Damn anybody who wants to compromise on our national security. Peace is an illusion. Diplomats use the word like tissue paper to wipe away their tears each time someone is killed.....Israeli or Palestinian. You don't need to have a plan to be a peaceful human being.

The Israeli Initiative is actually viable, not like the Saudi Initiative. Interestingly enough, I could launch the same attack against the Saudi plan that you launch against the Israeli plan, but the only difference is that a Palestinian state is not and never was a viable option. Just look at how your PA violates human rights! As much dirt and filth you spew against us Israelis, the truth is that you Arabs treat your brother Arabs 10x worse than we do. Look at the amount of Arabs fleeing Yesha! Look at Birzeit University's survey that says that somewhere near 50% of young Arab males living in Yesha would leave if they could! Look at the fact that Palestinian militias view the Hashemite Kingdom as next on their target list after Israel! Reality is staring you in the face, Hani, a viable Palestinian state just isn't in the cards. Resistence is futile...

Real easy! Cheaper than ads in the Israeli papers. But impossible to do. Why? Because the Palestinians can't even sell the peace process to their own people. If it's not good enough for the Pals, then it's not good for us either. The EU should tell Abbas and Erekat to stop wasting EU taxpayers money on these stupid, useless, misleading ads.
