2. What were the lists proposed in the survey?
Eric ,   Tel Aviv   (11.20.08)
Who was listed as the top of each party on the survey? The top (PM) candidate on the list makes a difference.

Lets all just hope that Bibi doesnt change face like the countless politicians before him! Israel needs to act like the strong powerful nation it once was. The weak sniveling left has done irreparable damage through its appeasement of the enemy and ruined our deterrence values against out Arab enemies!....... Its imperative that we stop accepting the existence of a bogus Palastinian state which was invented by the left at OSLO! Its time for a CHANGE!!!!!!!!!!

5. Time for change
Steve   (11.20.08)
The corrupt Kadima/Labor government has been in power for some time now. In that time: - They gave up Gaza, which is now used as a terror base and rocket launching site. - Their leader, Ehud Olmert, was and still is being investigated for corruption. - They kicked thousands of Jews out of their homes. - They stuffed up in Lebanon - They are negotiating with the terrorist Mahmoud Abbas. They actually want to give him control of the West Bank! They want to give control to a raving Anti-Semite who believes the Holocaust was a Zionist lie. After failure after failure, it is time for change. It is time to get our dignity back. When you go into that polling booth, make the right choice: Vote Likud.

You have several problems with you rant: corrections are - They gave up Gaza, which is now used as a terror base and rocket launching site. - Their leader, Ehud Olmert, was and still is being investigated for corruption. < But no charges or convictions & Bibi was investigated for corruption too.> - They kicked thousands of Jews out of their homes. < Again this was Likud.> - They stuffed up in Lebanon - They are negotiating with the terrorist Mahmoud Abbas. And where is - instigated the 2nd intifada? - loused up the economy? - Paid off religious parties for no real gain to the country as a whole -created the Tal law for draft dodging? - Put in the accused (but not yet convicted) former President? - had several members convicted of bribery, voter fraud, etc Let's not look at the Likud as if Bibi and the rest of them as if they are spotless angles who will save us out of the goodness of their hearts
7. Damn the torpedos, full speed ahead
Gideon Reader   (11.20.08)
"I know that I have been the bad boy of Israel politics, but did you also know that I am the really dumb boy of Israeli politics? Look. Beautiful white clouds. Full speed ahead, he cried. But, but, sir. I think they are Icebergs. Nonsense my child. Have I ever been wrong? Huh? Have I? Nevermind that list. Sail on Good Ship Labor, he laboriously said.
8. GOOD!...
Israel Watchdog ,   Akko   (11.20.08)
Good! Hopefully the Israeli public will vote with it's security in mind rather than the American publics vote for their pocketbooks.

But beware of trusting Bibi. Just look at his history and you will realize that he is the same as Olmert and Barak. We need new leadership. Livni is new, but can we trust her?
10. Don't Anyone Get Excited
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (11.20.08)
32 seats means roughly a quarter of the population wants Likud. That's 25%. Or, if you will, 3 out of 4 people don't want them. What a way to "win" an election! Nothing to get thrilled about.

THE NATION AND ISRAELIS HAVE SPOKEN!!!! enough with giving land for kassams and terrorism. we need a begin, a netanyahu who will make sure that should we come to the negotiation table, we will come not empty handed and also from a position of strength and justice.
13. kadima
(11.20.08)
as a partu entrusted with the security and viability of the jewish state have done a miserable job because: 1. they listened to the usa demands 2. they appeased in order to be liked and line themselves in line with usa policy in mid east 3. more concerened about image and keeping government seats than jews, their security and viability in the jewish state. all these maneuvers brought hamas to power, iran to power and hizbullah to power.
14.  Poll
Tom ,   US   (12.31.08)
32 does not make for majority rule- vote enough Likud to get Feiglin in Knesset also to secure his many followers of his faction and help secure the land from being shifted to other states and make the government strong enough to resist EU UN US etc
