31. Refugee states dont normally fire rockets & mortars
and expect their enemy to help them?
The UN is so fulll of shite is almost beyond belief that they can make these stupid demands and not adequately consider just what this situation is and how its come to be.
Not a brain among them.

Wonderful news.Gaza on brink of disaster. LET THERE BE A DISASTER. Let the world see the lies.Money and aid for gaza goes to arms and ammunition. UN assisting in production of kassams.Let Karen abu Zayed concentrate on the kassams then request opening of Israeli borders. Why not let the UN cry to Egypt?? All karen'slies are laughed at in Cairo. The borders must be hermetically sealed. Stop water supply, cut electricity. Why does the cowardly Israeli leaders still assist killers of men ,woman and children.??Let Un get the supply from the peace boat. They spent a quarter million dollars to break the UN called blockade. The media are incoperated but Israel shut up.No publicity!!POOR GAZANS.killed thier parents and now crying that they are orphans. CROCIDILE TEARS.

37. gaza starves
Israel must start putting the blame on Egypt. Let arabs all go to Egypt and Gaza land should return to Israel. The border length to police will be much shorter.

38. swiss bank accounts
they should have the UN transfer some of the billions in swiss banks that the leaders of these poor poor poor people have waiting for them on their overseas excursions...give me a break - stop blowing yourself up and stop blaming israel for your own problems...

39. Ban Ki LOON will never 'get' it.......
The UN's useful idiot is at it again. Why oh why doesn't he just say 'Until the rockets stop falling on Israel, everything they do is OK with me." The Gazans will 'suffer' (yeah, right) as long as their psychopathic 'government' is in power. They voted in the devil, they shouldn't be surprised if life isn't a bed of roses.

40. UN, FU
If Obama is serious about resolving the ME problems, he should advise the un to stop pandering to the pals and get on with the business of assisting all needy people in the world.
The un was never designated as an exclusive pander to the pals. all the time agency.
Cut off their funding and the pal-Israeli problem is solved.

42. Is the UN for real?
The UN should better hurry to help others in Africa, especially starving christians in Darfur, rather than busying themselves like always with the Jews, with the Israelis. But I want to be "humanitarian" and give the UN a good tip - there is a southern part of Gaza which has a friendly, open border with Egypt. Why don't you try there? And besides, the Egyptians are their brothers and sisters.

43. There are some in Gaza
who want out of the grip of the evil leaderships grasp. and want to live life with the same chance you reading this have. they need rescuing from the wickedness there. Not to say that God has not turned the hearts of wicked leaders too. So, what do we do? Maybe beg him to do just that?

44. the solution is simple-getting past politcal issues is hard

45. Tunnels
This past week on Israeli TV we saw a report about the hundreds of tunnels the Gazans have connecting them with Egypt. They are 'importing' plenty of food and supplies from Egypt. The joke was made by a local Gazan, that he wishes they'd build a wider tunnel, so that he can buy a new Mercedes, and have it delivered through the tunnel. The Israeli closer of borders is not as effective as it could be because they are sustaining themselves, and do not really suffer from the closures as much as they would be, if they didn't have those tunnels.
The Gazans repeatedly try to dig tunnels into Israel too. But they're not meant for transporting goods, but rather terrorists.
When will the world recognize that alot of what is considered inhuman Israeli response is self-defense?

They voted to be taken over by terrorists, now they are getting what they deserve. Besides this is all lies, all the supplies they need like Viagra and cigarettes are arriving unimpeded through the smuggling tunnels!

47. You make your bed, you lie in it!
Are we supposed to feel sorry for them? Hello, these are the people who shelled Sderot for 7 years, plan Israel's destruction EVERY DAY and still try to terrorize our people. These are the people who sanction the illegal imprisonment of Gilad Shalit and are subjecting the Shalit family to the life of a living hell! These are the people who were handed a country with huge potential which they promptly destroyed!
So, what they get is of their own making. Just stop the futile hatred of Israel and the Jewish people, release Gilad NOW and sit down and talk like civilized human beings and not behave like criminal thugs!
Then, poor suffering Gazans, you will probably achieve the right to build you country and the world will even help you!

48. #11
Being amongst other things the second largest recipient of non-military US foreign aid, the Egyptian government is under huge pressure to keep their part of the Gaza border closed--something that is very unpopular amongst Egyptians--whenever that is what Israel and/or the US demands.

49. #7,8 to Aid Agencies: Deliver it by Sea
An Egyptian court has overruled a controversial 20-year deal on gas exports to Israel. Judges ruled in favour of Ibrahim Yousri, a lawyer who says that Egypt is losing $9m for each day that Cairo upholds the fixed-price agreement with Tel Aviv. That is really a grave against Israel which may be forced into a dim-out as Israel's electricity is starting to depend on, at least in a great part, Egyptian gas.
The Free Gaza Movement now has an inspection procedure in place in Cyprus to ensure the boat and contents comply with international regulations. In addition, they publish information about their passengers and cargo that ensures nothing and no one harmful is on board. Israel has shown itself willing to accept such assurances from them.
The Free Gaza Movement has established an exit for Israel from the excuse of security!

51. British journalists.
While British headlines scream at Israel for causing a humanitarian crisis in Gaza, few are aware that Hamas has been stealing fuel supplies intended for Gaza’s population and blowing up the crossing points to provoke Israel into closing them, to escalate the conflict and inflame the world. Even fewer are aware that many of the most inflammatory images from the region are fabricated, since both Hamas and Hezbollah routinely stage ‘atrocities’ or artificially exaggerate incidents using doctored footage — courtesy of British journalists who are threatened with murder or kidnap if they fail to toe the line. 52. A better future for the Arabs of Judea, Samaria and Gaza.
Israel must restore its “aura of invincibility” lost in the Second Lebanon War if there is to be any semblance of hope for a better future. That will only be achieved when Israel’s enemies come to realize that they have truly been defeated, that they cannot continue the system that led to the war, and that their dream of conquest is dead. The solution to the misery of the Arabs living in Judea, Samaria and Gaza exist : they should think about emigrating, discretely, to other Arab countries before it is too late, (most of these countries are not very populated and can easily integrate them). That is the real solution as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi5c8

The Egyptians have regularly let Hamas people in and out of Gaza with money and weapons.
You have of course something to back up your claim that Egypt's policy on Gaza is "very unpopular amongst Egyptians"?

60. Gaza, Gaza ! O" Samson, where are Thou !!
NU !... I can wait no longer.
-- UNWRA = Gaza is on the brink
-- K. Abu Zayad= '' " " " "
-- Ban Ki the Moon= " " " "
-- The EU = " " " "
While ALL the Arab potentates, dictators, kings, emperors, clergy, sit on $$$billions belonging to their "cerfs"; refuse ENTRY to their beloved Brothers AND, show their compassions by sending them " muslim health food " IE: bombs, rockets, mortars, machine guns, improved " belts ", lovely uniforms for their darling little ones, so they can join Allah in his Rose Garden (I am omitting the Virgins).
I am very serious when I say " I can wait no longer " for the day when the " strip " is " stripped " so we can proceed in making the desert bloom " Israeli style " and, together with our peaceful neighbors, enjoy the fruits of our labor.
