Arab hostility to the settlements made post-1967 is just a continuation of their hostility to Israel in general. They focus on those settlements because they hope to make progress on them now, but sooner or later they will make similar demands on the rest of Israel if they think they are powerful enough to get away with it. They often will act diplomatic by saying they support Israel while slyly they reject the idea of Israel being a Jewish state.
