1. India and Israel are on the same side in this great struggle
This is not, as some believe, a clash of civilizations but rather, as Syrian-American Wafa Sultan has argued, a battle of civilization against barbarism.
On one side, we have the modern manifestations of the Jewish and Indian civilizations of old. On that side too are the civilizations of the West who value their freedoms. (Reports indicate that in some of these attacks the terrorists were specifically looking for those carrying US and UK passports.)
On the other side we have advocates of the perpetual jihad against "unbelievers". One cannot accommodate them, or negotiate with them. They must be defeated, and their sick ideology fully discredited.
The conflict between Israel and its neighbors should not be considered in isolation; it is a front in a greater confrontation.
