2. ?
This entire situation is terrible - that goes without saying. At the same time - is it really possible for us to ally ourselves with a country with such a completely aggressive foreign policy and to feel no consequences? Like in a one-to-one situation, we are judged by those closest to us. What type of world do you want to be associated with?
Helen Levy ,   South Africa   (11.29.08)

5. your names will be remmembered in our services
We are praying since we notice something evil was in mumbai. Acts of tzedaka, in the name of the victims are been doing to people in the needed Santa Catarina State“s flood. We are putting more tefillins, praying and doing services in their honor. We are a people of life, not seeking death, and the best we can do, to remmember them, is our struggle to a tikun olam. Shall the allmighty charges havily, the blood of inocent and good.eople.

14. Rabbi Chromans "not to fear"
i had the opportunity to meet Rabbi Chroman in beijing on many weekends. at the seudat shabbat friday night he always loved to sing carlebach melodies, and his favorite melody was "kol haolam kulo gesher tzar meod, ve-hoikar lo le-fached klal, meaning that 'the world is just one narrow bridge, and the main thing is not to fear". I am sure that he was singing this with his soft sweet voice when his life was taken as a Kadosh.

15. Helen Levy from South Africa #2
"a country with such a completely aggressive foreign policy " Are you referring to Israel? Who released a bloody baby-murderer in exchange for two dead bodies? Who uprooted its own inhabitants from Gaza, just to get an endless barage of Kassams in exchange? Who warned Hizbollah before bombing their headquarters? Who treats many Palestinians in its hospitals, even a sick Iranian kid who had nowhere else to go? Who is doing nothing in retaliation for shelling its army base yesterday? I truly have no problem at all if a Jew like you would not be associated with my country. We truly don't need you. Still, we would hold no grudges, and welcome you here with open arms when you'd come running from the antisemitism and the atrocious crime sweeping your country.
Tahl ,   Israel   (11.30.08)
16. Kaddish
At my synagogue on Shabbos, as well as other synagogues across the U.S., the entire congregation stood and said kaddish. We all are mourning this tragic loss. We must fight evil with everything we have!

17. Fill the darkness with light
As Chanuka is approaching we have to concentrate even more our efforts to enlighten this dark world. The only way to fight the evil of this world is to fill the vacuum with even more goodness.
Elieser Schvarcz ,   Antwerp, Belgium   (11.30.08)

As the Aunt of the niftar's brother Yanky - She'yichyei l'chaim tovim v'aruchim and his wife Faigy, tichya, Bentzi Kruman's a"h p'tira has a ripple effect on people like me too here in America. Being geographically distant from the Krumans - Elka tichye and her husband yichye - true role model people - bein odom l'chaveiro and bein odom la'Makom - I send my heartfelt prayers that Hashem send the Moshiach immediately to put an end to these horrific tradgedies we are experiencing.
