2. you go Sandy !
I am so proud of you. Not everyone agrees its a good idea but your enthusiastic and initiative behaviour made a change, or helped then decide.

3. One person CAN make a difference.
Good for her, good for them and good for all who support Israel and well dressed ladies.
|
|
4. a good example
that's a very good example for a personal dedication that can couse a giant weel to start turning. Good on you sandy, and keep up your beauty.

5. Learn something, israelis!
You're supposed to say thank you. Your kids are too, especially to you.( it's similar to 'please', and that other one, 'sorry' ). Try it, it doesn't bite. It doesn't even make you a 'fryer'..Thank you.

6. Well done Sandy!!!
What an amazing achievement, it's amazing how one small ripple can create such a wave.

7. ... and back to reality, thank you.
All of you cannot truly be so naive as to believe that Sandy Livak-Furmanski made even the slightest difference in H&M's decision making? The chain simply used her group later on as a marketing ploy to spread the news. This article is pure garbage and definitely not worthy of any news. Sorry Sandy, you are nothing special.

8. What about 'Arafat' scarves?
Here in Germany H&M sold 'Arafa' scarves which are pretty popular with certain groups (young leftists)

9. Good for you, what about Target
Hey I know what else we need here....a chain like Target....reasonably priced everything - clothes, beding, toys, homewares etc....I don't think Hamashbir comes even close.

|
10. Just make sure its the real thing.
I do hope they don't make the mistake that M&S made when they came to Israel. They put some idiot Israeli fashion "experts" in charge who tailored the clothes to what they perceived to be Israeli taste! But what Israelis really want is what they would find in the store abroad. Nothing more and nothing less!

11. #7 So true
But good PR pays off, as you see. She didn't even realize she was being used, and even enjoyed being used by them. Well done Aich n Em.

12. H&M have someone at Ynet doing a very good PR job....

13. Bring Steve & Barry from the U.S.
Also with the same prices they charge there. One week and every clothing store in Israel will close up.
How about "Arbi's"? Root beer?
Wal*mart's?

14. Before you celebrate
H & M sells cheap clothes and quality is average. Nothing to get excited about. Also the company is from Sweden, one of the most hostile countries towards Israel in Europe, yet it doesn't seem to bother fashion-addicted, price-oriented Israelis one bit. How odd.

15. Pleased to learn about this!
As a Swede who loves Israel I´m very pleased to learn that H&M is going to establish themselves there. In the footsteps of IKEA, so to say. A comment to Joakim nr 14: perhaps Israelis just want nice clothes they can afford, just the way it is in Denmark...
