Abbas has little real support. So why are we talking to him? What value does any agreement have with his signature on it? The answer is obvious - it has no value. The other interesting poll result is how many Palestinians would like to leave. So why aren't we helping them to go? Wouldn't the situation in Gaza be better if half the population left voluntarily? Wouldn't it be to our advantage to see Judea & Samaria emptied of at least some Palestinians, & voluntarily at that? Why are we so stupid?

Hamas was defending itself in Gaza against forces trained by general Dayton , with funds from US and EU and Mohamed Dahlan . the thugs of Dahlan (and abbas ) were sure to crush Hamas since they won the elections and the trust of the Majority of People . But they were wrong . Hamas could defend itself and the cowards ran away via Isreali border to the westbank . Hamas needed to clean up Gaza from traitors . I have marriage contracts and land deeds that spell names and nationalities as "Palestinian" dating back to 1926. I also have land deeds from 1832 that says Qada' Akka, Palestine. I also have few shekels that i can buy you a ticket to the muslim musuem in al-quds that show you historical deeds dating back to 700s DC refering to the land as Paletsine and the people as Palestinians? If Abu Quisling Abbas remains in power beyond next January against the will of almost 2/3 of the Palestinian people, it will clearly demonstrate the Quisling nature of his government. Originally, he was picked by Israel and forced by the US upon Yasser Arafat as Prime Minister. Since then he has been the darling of Israel and the US. Will they be able to keep him in power against the will of the people?
