"relative halt?" Are you kidding me? A ceasefire means both sides HALT FIRE. Period. The Palestinians have proved time and again that they are incapable of negotiating treaties. They use extortion and terrorism to leverage their demands and never ever compromise. Israel should have NO OBLIGATION TOWARD GAZA as long as its representative "government" (Hamas) continues to violate its agreement by firing rockets at Israeli cities and refusing to provide for the people who elected them.
