You may be right about Netanyahu, but the rest of the top ten includes only two relative "Leftists" Yuval Shteinitz who is acknowledged as being honest and Silvan Shalom who feels he has been betrayed one to many times by Netanyahu. The rest of the top ten are rational and excellent parliamentarians like Saar, Ardan, Rivlin and Kahlon who struggled against Sharon.

Those who resist the law and government by acts of violence and resistance are not representative of the real Israel. They should be working with legal methods of fighting their fights - each time they resist the Police or Army carrying out the Government's or Court's rulings they weaken the safety of us all and help Hamas in their goal of "No Jews West of the Jordan". If they are the real voice of Israel, then they would form a party with just those views and would do better than Liberman did in the last election.

i have been waiting for someone in the media to explain that the rebel was sharon and his people who left Likud. Media analysts who call Likudniks that were against the expulsion and stayed with the party instead of creating a new one are rendering the word "rebel" devoid of all meaning.

Sharon implemented the Mitzna plan. Ya'alon planned the security . Shalom, Netanyahu et al voted over and over and over and over again for it. They and others were the true rebels against the people who elected Likud to abide by the Likud charter and that of Jewish people. Ohrbach didn't call them rebels then though. I don't know why he is trying to make sense now. The Likud court should have kashered the party long before the geroush. Those acting against simply have no business being in the party. But the Likud has no such moral backbone, neither does Ohrbach. The word Rightist refers to anyone on the right of the political spectrum, not only settlers and others who violently resist the government. There is a huge section of population that is politically Right-leaning, especially after the policies of the Left have left Israel weak and demoralized. By attributing the word Rightist solely to those on the extreme right of the spectrum, you're letting yourself get duped by Kadima and Labor. Maybe you should take second look at the propaganda you are being fed by the Left.

We have tried left for many years, gave back Gaza and it didn't work did it? So why not try right? It was Begin(right) who made pease with Egypt. It was right who made pease with Jordan! So, maybe we should try to fix the economy and forget the arabs for a few years. let them come to us and beg for pease. Not the other way around.

I do not assume that the right is the same group hijacked by the settlers, protesters in Hebron, or others that resist the government. Rather I want it to be understood that those here in Israel are not represented by the general category called the right and ask that if they represent the general thinking of Israel I want to see them form a party and win more than the center or left parties. Otherwise they need to work in the system, and denounce those who are using their name to promote chaos rather than rule of law.

I second poster #7. What is it with this large number of Israelis like you, Uri Orbach, you have a bully pulpit but you seem to have a numbed mind. It was blatantly obviously even to someone from the US two/three years ago what immoral, illegal and worse acts Sharon was doing and very puzzling why no one in the Knesset or elsewhere was doing something about this. How can this country survive if large numbers of people dunk the truth, the facts, and genuine on-the-ground observations? This country must be held together physically.
