As reported in YNET concerning Israel's peace proposal, the Palestinians rejected the West Bank territory Israel wanted to retain and rejected the number of refugees Israel wanted to take in. For coalition reasons Jerusalem wasn't discussed. (although Abbas has said Olmert offered the Arab neighbourhoods) Having rejected the proposal, it is now time for the Palestinians to present a counterprosal. Recall that Arafat never wanted to present counterproposals. So, who is the one blocking progress on peace? Where is international pressure for a Palestinian counterproposal?
