Palestinian terrorism existed before the West Bank and Gaza Strip were even in Israel's control, so clearly it has nothing to do with the current occupation. And if the Palestinians wanted to oppose the occupation, they could do it by fighting against the IDF, not barbaric suicide bombings and rocket attacks on civilian populations. The Palestinians have the right to self-defense, but that does not include murdering Israeli civilians. Despite their fight against the IDF, the fact that Islamic Jihad, Hamas, PFLP, and the other groups target civilians negates any claim they have to being legitimate resistance groups. I'll preempt your retort and bring up Palestinian civilian casualties. It is true that there are many Palestinian civilian casualties that result from the IDF's operations, but the very important difference between the IDF and Islamic Jihad is that IJ is aiming for the civilians while the IDF is not. The security barrier, road blocks and IDF raids are all reactions to Palestinian terror. None of them would have been necessary if the PLO (founded in 1964) and the groups that sprung up later hadn't existed. You are a self-hating Jew and you make me sick.
