Israel is used to fighting and conquering lesser opponents. Historically, Israel fought and triumphed over inferior arab forces in terms of armament & maneuverabilty. The turning point was in Jennine camp where Palestinians armed with RPGs, a new tactic and drive, made a stand and taught IDF a bloody lesson. Iran & consequently Hizballah also learned the lesson and devised a new strategy which they put to use in 2006, and everyone knows what happened. Eventually, IDF took a hell of a beating and now they don't dare to think of facing Hizb. Also, they're petrified about the idea of going into Gaza since they don't know waht's waiting for them. The bottom line Israel won over inferior forces and now they want Russia to abstain from selling S300 SAMs to Iran, since they won't be able to do anything once the system reaches Tehran.

If I'm not mistaken Mark, Iran has repeatedly told the US and Israel they want to wipe us off the map, I think the US has EVERY right to stick their nose in this. Tyra unfortunately Israel and its sympathisers are blinded by a term that medical science referes to as 'the runaway testosterone syndrome' In 2006, Israel pushed forward over 60,000 men into battle armed with the most sophisticated fighter jets,tanks and artillary supported by warships only to be humiliated by a few thousand Hezbollah fighters, armed with not much more than courage and determination. These few thousand men of Hezbollah managed to humiliate an Israeli army that was used to winning wars againt the armies of several Arab countries simultaneously. Now, Russia and/or Iran will do more to Israel than just humiliate it if Israel dares to make a wrong move. I assure you of that.

All these news about what Iran is developing and what it will get from Russia is that Iran took time in developing a detterent stand that today the Iranians know it well that should anyone become foolish enough to attack its Nuclear sites the response will put the entire Middle East into a peril.Does anyone doubt that?

I believe in the Bible and God isn't something make believe to me. Israel is the great country I'm making it out to be, and I'm sorry 16 and 17 but Israel will be standing when all the rest of us are wondering what the heck just happened. (that includes Russia too)

Just look at the war of 2006. 90% of the casualties on the Lebanese side were civilians. 90% of the casualties on the Israeli side were military. Every single human rights group on earth including B'Tselem condemed Israeli use of force against civilians in Lebanon and in Palestine. Remeber Kana1and Kana2?
