Christians Still Unknowingly Celebrating Birth of Sun God Typical... Read an encyclopedia and learn some history. Christians celebrate an idolatrous Roman Hellenist festival celebrating the birth of the sun god, not adopted by Christianity until more than 3 centuries after the Pharisee Jew born there (336 C.E.), when shepherds in the field and computer calculations based on the descriptions of the astronomical observations (if it was a "star" in the east, Iranian magi would have wound up in South Korea staring out at Japan) indicate the birthdate was May 29... in the year B.C.E. 7. There is NO connection between the Pharisee Ribi from Beit Lekhem and, le-havdil, Christmas; see http://www.netzarim.co.il/Museum/Sukkah09/Christmas.htm The Scriptures taught by the Historical Pharisee Ribi from Beit Lekhem taught command that one NOT adopt the traditions of the idolaters and adhere meticulously, instead, to Torah (wa-Yiqra ["Lev."] 18.3, et al.). although diversity and difference is the infinitely beautiful mosaic on the tapestry of life. That which makes us similar still exceeds that which makes us different. The uniqueness you present in seeking accuracy is greatly appreciated though so, enjoy your exceedingly correct holy-days. K"H

7. Jesus NEVER existed, he was a myth,
JMK ,   NYC   (12.24.08)
he never was born, he never lived, he was not killed, no life is connected to Judea, the "perfidious" Jews were not there, Nazareth and Bethlehem did not exist for only years later, the New Test. is fiction, so when was he born? year 1CE or 4BCE or 6CE, born during King Herod's reign because of the fictional killing of the innocents but he died 4BCE, during Cerinious's fictional census 6CE, or 1CE so the supposed man god who be place during the phony dual priestly reign and Pilate prefecture, nonsense, Christians are knownothings flatearth types look where the US is headed a third world country with cable TV. A ten year pregnancy amazing, it must be another miracle.

Consider: if Christians learned to follow the real guy they profess to follow, what problems would that solve? What would the world look like?
9. #7 Bethlehem did not exist till after Jesus??
Ashur Banipal ,   Never existed   (12.25.08)
That's funny. Bethelehem Ephrathah, AKA Bethlehem is desribed throughout the Hebrew Bible, starting from Genesis. It is the birthplace of King David, and the site where Rachel was buried. Are you saying our Book is also a fraud and a lie? Micah 5:1 "But thou, Beth-lehem Ephrathah, which art little to be among the thousands of Judah, out of thee shall one come forth unto Me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth are from of old, from ancient days."

JMK ,   NYC   (12.25.08)

12. To JMK #7. TO Deny Someone’s Existence.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (12.26.08)
You say :”(Lord Jesus Christ) never lived, ..”. You (or anyone else) saying that “(Lord Jesus Christ) never lived” -- has NO effect whatsoever on him being on Earth more than two thousand years ago. IF someone (at the present moment) would say that the great-grandfather of the great-grandfather of JMK never existed, was never on planet Earth -- how would you call such a denier ? You would call him an IDIOT, you would call him a FOOL, don’t you. TO deny someone’s existence whom you NEVER have met or NEVER have seen -- doesn’t mean that person doesn’t exist, it doesn’t mean that that person never existed. IN other words, what is the value of you denying someone. IT has NO value whatsoever !!!
13. To JMK#11. Around 1,000 years Before Christ.
Maansingh ,   The Netherlands   (12.26.08)
JMK, are you saying that because no archaeological evidence is found, that therefore King David was not on planet Earth (around 1,000 years before Christ, around 1000 B.Chr.) ???
