The Israeli people have lost touch with reality. You can't kill and maim innocent people year after year and not get a response. You cannot bulldoze their homes and olive groves without expecting a reaction. You cannot an entire population of women and children and not expect their fathers and brothers to lash out against you. You cannot build apartheid walls and separate communities and families into isolated Warsaw ghettos without expecting them to resist. Everyone, even the Palestinians, have the right to resist tyranny. For 60 years the Israeli government has tried to beat the Palestinian people into submission. You haven't done it yet. Sooner or later your governement is going to have to take a logical approach to the Palestinian/Israeli conflict. This can only be done when all Israelis come to the realization that in 1948 grave injustices were committed against the orginal inhabitants of Palestine. Palestine was not abandoned land when the Jewish colonists arrived. Palestinians didn't willfully abandon their homes and farms in the war of 1948. They were driven from them by zionist extremists ( by today's definition zionist terrorists). These wrongs have to be acknowledged and in some way compensated. Either there is a single state with equal rights and opportunity for all people or their must be a viable, contiguous, free Palestine comprised fo the entire West Bank including East Jerusalem and the Gaza Strip. Truly there is no other way.

it is idiotic to distinguish between qassam rockets and grad rockets, and between hamas and other terrorist groups. hamas is in control of the gaza strip, and has enforced some sort of ceasefire since last summer. it has now announced an end to the ceasefire and resumed attacks on israeli civilians. such attacks are an act of war, as well as a war crime under international law. ceasefires are not called in the midst of peace, and hamas has publicly declared a resumption of the state of war, not on sderot, or on ashkelon, or on rehovot, but on ISRAEL. the israeli government must stop its political campaigning and respond with force to these attacks, because in a war, he who hesitates, dies.

"al-quds" is not a holy place of islam, nor was it EVER an arab capital of ANYTHING (in the years from 1947-1967, not a single arab leader even so much as visited jerusalem). in reality, "al-quds" is short for "al-quds al-yahoud" (holy place of the JEWS), and has been for almost 3000 years. even odder, many, if not all, the arabs living in east jerusalem would rather be citizens of israel. in spite of all your lies, life for arabs in israel is better than in ANY arab country. the only thing stopping them is the violent intimidation of the plo and its thugs.

Doesn't Israel have any deep penetration bombs to drop on the Gaza tunnels. I am thinking about something like the anti sub pen bombs used in WW2.
