You must be talking about your history.Genocide of Armenians, Greeks (Ios,Smirna),Kurds, etc.By the way,Turkey is illegal, occupies Christian lands,(wasn't Constantinople Greek?).Turkey bombed Kurdistan recently, how many civilians killed? Look into how Muslims treat "infidels" then shut up.

Your response is too long. It should read thus. Raze, plow, sow with salt.
36. Israeli murderers or victims?
Albert ,   Buenos Aires, Arg   (12.27.08)
it seems nice for the antiisraelis to read on the news, that Sderot was bombed, that kids have nightmares because of Qassams, etc, but not nice to read that Israeli crush terrorists. I as a jew, prefer all people to see Israel as murderer than as a victim crying for the Qassams. Get used that WWII jews do not exist anymore. We are not going to the gas chambers any more, and will not stand any rat sending Qassams to our beloved Israel. Get used to pay for your acts, you will see what will happen to a bad neighbour.
37. The major objective must be a permanent end and solution...
Alexander ,   Herzliya, Israel   (12.27.08)
...to Israel's demographic, territorial, safety related, security related, independence related, sovereignty related and loyalty related problems inside and outside of Israel. Morally it would be right to reconquer Gaza and all of Judea and Samaria. But that is not enough. For Israel's resources would be drained if IDF constantly has to make sure that Arabs inside Israel and Arabs in Gaza, Judea and Samaria will not embark upon their fascist genocidal plans of annihilating Israel from within with demographic warfare and terrorism and thus creating a "judenrein" Middle East. The solution is not merely to take away the weapons or destroy the weapons of Hamas, because they would only acquire new weapons from Egypt and Syria and Iran. And toppling the Hamas will not solve anything because Al Fatah is equally anti-Semitic and anti-Israeli. And replacing the two of them with something else will not change the fact that "man on the street" in Gaza, Judea and Samaria - meaning Arabs, are still disloyal and hateful and hostile. So the only solution is to eradicate and annihilate the enemy both from the within and outside of Israel. The aim is TOTAL VICTORY AND PERMANENT PEACE AND PERMANENT SOLUTION TO OUR PROBLEMS.
38. God bless Israel
Sobieski ,   Germany   (12.27.08)
You are the light of peoples and have acted wisely against the followers of the false prophet. Many in Europe stand behind you !
39. tony blair
alexi   (12.27.08)
Blair equates israeli response with hamas rockets. He and his wife are arabl loving britains whose memory of israel is 1948 and before. He makes his million a year as amabassador blaming israel and worrying about gazan suffering.Blair was always overrated and in the end worries about lining his own pockets. Britain sent ships to falklands to defend birtish soveriegnty but israel should not defend itself. He has too long asked israel to make unreasonable sacrifices. now its time to fight. Just do it and we'll see what happens. By the way, the fight has only begun. keep making noise and threats. Its okay.
40. To nr 13. Yeah right - a Turk has an opinion on human rights
Alexander ,   Herzliya, Israel   (12.27.08)
We know how sensitive Turks are to human rights - especially when Turks committed a genocide on Armenians in the beginning of the 20th century. Use your brain. How can Israel have a habit of killing civilians if the Arab population has increased by 1000%, meaning 10 TIMES since 1948?! Are you genuinely stupid or is someone paying you to be stupid?
41. 14 - what was Americas response to 9/11
zionist forever   (12.27.08)
9/11 - a group of terrorists destroyed the World Trade Centre and smashed a hole in the side of the Petangon. Americas response was not lets worry about the civilians it was a full scale air and ground operation in Afghanistan with the support of NATO. Israel daily rocket attacks coming from terrorists in Gaza but everybody says Israel must not use military action we must find a diplomatc solution. If the US is attacked its ok to go to war with another country if Israel is attacked its not ok to attack the terrorist breeding ground. Why should America be allowed to use force but Israel isn't, surley if its ok for you to use the military as a response to a single terror attack its ok for Israel to use the military as a resoponse to daily terror attacks. The only problem is Israel is run by a bunch od spineless cowards who are not willing to do what it takes and authorise a ground offensive. Just like in Lebanon they are trying to fool themselves into believing that air power alone can solve the problem when the reality is the only way to solve the problem is by sending in ground troops.
42. #35 Sagi - Israel.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (12.27.08)
Were you thinking about Carthage? I don't like the historical analogy because while the Roman tactics were certainly effective, their attack on Carthage was really quite unfair. We, on the other hand, are completely justified.
43. Hamas is to blame for all of this
Ken Jurist   (12.27.08)
What did the Gazan state expect Hamas launch missiles into crowded areas in Israel. Then Hamas hides afterwards behind civilians pretending that they are innocent by-standers. Hamas provoked the situation and are getting what they deserve. All they had to do was stop the rocket fire. But ofcourse they didn't want to. Any country that was hit with hundreds of missles would respond back.
44. Go Israel, Go, Not a day too soon!
At Last ,   TheRock   (12.28.08)
Finish off these terrorists once and for all! These are people who don't want to live. They only want to kill. Do not leave the job unfinished as you did in Lebanon. Let the criticism of the hypocrites of the world slide like water off your back.
45. # 9 English translator needed
Ben ,   Near Haifa, Israel   (12.27.08)
I am sorry to contradict you, but your observation is not in any way related to the subject matter. Is your Hebrew written as a native Hebrew speaker without any mistakes? Please read what you have written again and when you have corrected your English, please try again. Should we not rather pray for the safety of our young soldiers?
46. There won’t be end to this conflict unless remove Gaza popul
e.m Jordan is Palse ,   s.f   (12.28.08)
Because of blind eyes of international support to Hamas Israeli Retaliation attack will stop and Hamas terrorism will start her missile attack to Israeli civilian population again and again and again, There won’t be end to this conflict unless remove Gaza population to either Iran or any Arabs nations,

50. i hope this is not the objective
david ,   new york   (12.28.08)
if the objective is to slowly excalate until hamas agrees to a ceasefire then clearly the israeli leadership has learned nothing from the last lebanon war. time is on hamas's side. if you don't defeat them decisively and quickly, then israel will be forced to stop attacking them and they will win. also, what dope would ashkenazi be smoking that he would actually think that hamas will stop attacking israel?? i would hope that the israelis are smarter than that.
51. Time to pass out candy & dance in the streets. They believed

52. Objectives
Orit ,   Manhattan, USA   (12.28.08)
This tactic change is critical in changing the course of Israeli survival. Unfortunately, it comes at a time when people do not want to hear about death and war so Israel must tread carefully but confidently.
53. Im wondering...
Isaac ,   Miami Fl, USA   (12.28.08)
What would the US do if the Mexican gangs started firing rockets at our southern border towns from Mexico?
54. Not a bad Idead
Isaac ,   USA   (12.28.08)
Arabs always talk about relocating the Israelis from Israel.... Maybe that's the solution but instead of moving the Jews from their homeland move the Arabs from the Jews land.
55. #14
Madeleine ,   Rehovot Israel   (12.28.08)
Well we don't target children on their way to school and kindergarten. We don't target hospitals. We are fed up of being indiscriminiately shelled. These people were given the Gaza strip, promptly destroyed anythign we left that they could have used to their beneifit - buildings, agriculture - and proceeded to set up their rocket launchers. And you expect us to sit down and twiddle our thumbs? Look at your own country - went to war thousdands of miels away and why? To defend its citizens? N! To secure its oil prices. Go figure.
56. #17
Madeleine ,   Rehovot   (12.28.08)
We don't raise our kids to sing songs of hatred and bloodshed. You lot know nothing else. It was always said that when Arabs love life, love their children, more than they glory death, we will have peace. you don't know the meaning of love.
57. #18
Madeleine ,   Israel   (12.28.08)
And you will sink deeper and deeper and deeper into your mire of hatred and death-glory. When your leaders have no outside enemy they wil lturn on your, their own citizens.
58. Replace “peace” with strength and determination.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (12.28.08)
Current proposals like the Road Map are totally unworkable and should be abandoned. Considering the fact that the only possible relations between the Muslims and the non-Muslims are war or a limited ceasefire, it follows that the word “peace” should be deleted from Israel’s lexicon as well as the notion of peace with the Arabs as a viable, political possibility. The maximum that Israel can aim for is a limited ceasefire or an armistice, taking into consideration that the Arab side will violate it at any time, as the Palestinians have been proving on a daily basis since the signing of the Oslo Accords in September 1993. The solution to the Israelo-Arab problem should be find elsewhere as explained at : http://xrl.us/bi7ku
59. PR Campaign proves that you know you are wrong
Palestinian american ,   OHIO   (12.28.08)
the world knows that israel has kept Gaza under a siege against a captive population . your PR campaign would be unneeded if you were right . will this get rid of Hamas ?of course not . will it radicalize a million at least moderate palestinians to fight occupation .you bet you. NO PR campaign will changethe painful future that Israel had mapped out for itself . fair and just peace would have been much less expensive . 2 states solution is dead today . it is a demographic war ,and you know who will come on top .. i had my doubts but i am certain that MR Bush of Texas is the worst president in the history of this country .. 23 more days .and counting ...
60. 59 - Palestinian PR was launched DECADES ago. Implications?
NL ,   NYC   (12.28.08)
Israel's PR campaign is a necessary response to a Palestinian PR campaign that was launched in the early 80s, most notably headed formally and deliberately by Hanan Ashrawi, beginning in 1988. If the need for PR shows weakness for a cause, and Palestinian PR has been ongoing and strident for two decades, then by your own admission Palestinian 'resistance' and the Palestinian cause are wrong. Is that what you mean? Your comments are an example of a typical problem among Palestinian spokespeople: They forget that the slogans that they love to throw about ('right to a life free of terror' or 'right for self-determination/an independent country', for example) work bidirectionally.
