3. and what does egypt do ?
Dr raed ,   nablus   (01.01.09)
a nation of 70 million had converted to red crescent country supplying foord and medical supplies instead of supporting the palestinians. shame on you egypt..supports israel and had done all things to deceive hamas ..as a result we have 400 killed people. egypt had sold its sole to israel and US shame on you Mr former embassador
4. Many thanks
Mohammad ,   Belfast, UK   (01.01.09)
Many thanks mr Basyouni for your efforts in trying to destroy the pa;estinian people. You don't deserve the name Mohammad and you should call yourself David. We don't expect any support from you after your president came out of hiding and said what he said. I think that the palestinians should forget the Arab Support and try and work with the Israel for their prosperity. We expect nothing from the arabs and the persians equally.
5. thank you mr.basyoni god bless you!!
mira ,   israel   (01.01.09)
6. This Dog is Against Democracy
Nour   (01.01.09)
His regime is terrified by the free ballot, hence his loathing of Hamas and the Palestinian people, who chose their leaders in an open and transparent election. Unlike Egypt which is a dictatorship.
7. Hamas=Mullah Agents.
Jason ,   Australia   (01.01.09)
The Hamas terrorists are agents of the hated Iranian Mullah tyrants. All along, as their counterparts the Hizbollah terrorists in Lebanon, they, Hamas, have been acting on orders from Tehran. They DO NOT CARE about the poor people in Gaza. Their aim is to split the Arab World, sacrificing the Gazans in the process. They are TRAITORS to the Arab world. For years they are doing what their Iranian masters order them to do. It is part of the Iranian Shiite Mullah's plan , to take control of the Middle East and implement their fanatical, sharia Shiite brand of Islam. The Egyptians, the Saudis, the Jordanians and many other Arabs are well aware of the Cunningly Treacherous plan of the Iranian mullahs and their agents, the Traitors Hamas in Gaza, and Hizbollah in Lebanon.
8. #4
YASIN MOHAMMED ,   UK, LONDON   (01.01.09)
Could you give one valid reason for Hamas why are they firing missiles at Israel. How can they fight with israel when 6 countries together tried to do in 1967 war they were crushed in 6days.why they want to try now at cost of poor gazan's when israel has reached it height in techo warfare. Best way is to learn from past & think of young arab generation to grow them as doctor or scientist and not terrorist. This way you are making world think that arabs/mulsims are burden in this world.
9. "All free men...."
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.01.09)
in Gaza have elected Hamas to destroy Israel! Gazan populatin wants Israel to disappear and Jews fed to the fish - that's what Hamas has been promising and that's why it got the mandate. Basyuni has revealed at a Egyptian University lecture that he has actually been an intelligence officer while on "diplomatic" duty in Israel and under the friendly atitude and relationships in Israel, he hid a visceral hatred for Israel and Jews. This is the same Basyuni who now bashes Hamas (and idirectly Israel). Although bashing Hamas is good, we should be wary of "friends" like Basyuni and Mubarak.
10. #4 Mohammad, are you hailing from the Belfast Kasbah?
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.01.09)
From what you are saying I think that you rather call from much, much closer! And beware: "Belfast, UK" is someting that not many Irish will agree with. It is like saying "Ramallah, Israel" - LOL!
11. #1 Specialist in "dictators"... NOT!
The Doc ,   Haifa,Israel   (01.01.09)
HAHAHA! it is funny hearing somebody talking about dictators from the Hezbollah-terrorized and raped Lebanon, with the Syrian and Iranian tyrants, spies and assasins around him and not mentioning Assad, Nasrallah and AdmedineMonkey. You are talking about bribes and dictators? YOU are talking about "hiding the truth"? You make me laugh!

thank you mr. chairman! don't be afraid to tell it like it is!!! i applaud those in the arab world who recognize that these fake shahid's and so-called leaders talk alot of smack about jihad, but when its time to fight, they just hide under their mama's skirts. punks!!!! c'mon and fight like real men!! or is your life more precious then a small gazan child>? go to hell you sick and evil cowards!
14. to the arab talk backers
JL ,   israel   (01.01.09)
it is not surprising to hear you all blame eygpt for your troubles....you brought it on yourselves...and only by yourselves...it is so consistant with every war the arabs have waged and lost...then whine like woman to blame someone else...and bassouney is right...as civilians die your brave hamas hides in hospitals or dressed as woman....pathetic...as usual...real gazans should kill the hamas operatives in thier midst just like they killed people aligned with fatah

Basyouni and his President are aligned with the Israel. The money is good!. So no surprises their. He should focus on making Egypt less corrupt and not chastise a leadership opperatin bravely in an area off 300 sq km.
17. Somebody confuses Ynet with Al-Jazeera forums!
The Doc ,   Haifa, Israel   (01.01.09)
All these Muslim pathetic posters barking at an article from Ynet (an Israeli "paper"), think that what they say counts. You are all a big and lame joke! You better carry your frustration and backwardness to Al-Jazeera, or, if you absouteluy want to be read in Israel by other Arabs, you should post your stupid remarks over at Haaretz. What a pile of crap!
18. EGYPTIANS SHOULD WAKE UP
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (01.01.09)

emanon ,   USA   (01.01.09)
22. It is far better to be aligned with the US and Israel
JO   (01.01.09)
than Iran and it's elite clerics, unless of course you want a dictatorship with sharia law. If you want peace and tolerance and hope for our children - education, careers, love, tolerance, respect for our fellow man, freedom of thought, dignity, Joy for our children. Hamas teaching children death and glory is horrific and should not be. I believe that Palestinians and Israelis have to live together , there is no other way. Most Iranians do not accept or care for Iran's leadership, one day they will pay the price for it.
23. down and dirty
real vision ,   usa   (01.01.09)
The fact remains is that MANY in the arab world understand that israel has the right to respond to the 10,000 rockets that hamas never stopped shooting into israel. Hamas leaders have brought gaza to this misery and egypt is totally disgusted by all of hamas actions. Nobody wants gazans for neighbors ever

27. Its a tradition
Arie ,   BaGolan   (01.01.09)
they hide in their roach holes while ordering their minions to seek out martyrdom. nazirallah has not been seen in public since his 'great victory'; haniyeh and his ilk are all in the tunnels knowing there are rockets with their pictures on them -what the hell if their terrorists purposely hide behind women and children; bin laden has been in his roach hole for 8 years; and the great muslim saddam hussein having hidden for all those months. Sooner or later, the forces of justice do force them out.
28. naimm in switzerland:pay for pay 'neutrality'
Arie ,   BaGolan   (01.01.09)
The swiss are well known for their 'neutrality' - whoever pays the most wins their neutrality! Let's review: you financed the nazid during the war and were paid by them to help them escape after the war; the muslims pay the ICRC to deny Jews the ability to use the Star of David while the muslim crescent is allowed; and your FM on her knees groveling to ahmadinejad in return for financing! So from whom will you seek money next for your 'neutrality'?
29. #6 "democracy"...

Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (01.01.09)
Egyptian border guard officer, in his own office at the border station, I'd say Egypt has no reason whatsoever to support Hamas, and the Palestinians who support them. Play with fire, get burned.
