1. war will solve the problem
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.04.09)
Start by taking away all the weapons the Palestinians have amassed over the years and replace it with bread and beans. Leave the Palestinians with pebbles to throw.
2. its not about right-wing vs. left-wing
(01.04.09)
it is traitors vs. loyal citizens
3. this leftist is a loyal supporters of IDF & IAF
(01.04.09)
and like me there are many more! We serve in the regular army and we do reserve duty! We live in Israel and because we have fought in her wars we have the right to our opinions! (and that is far more than Mr. Marcel sitting in his Florida Prison cell can say!)
4. Why don't these cowards go to Sderot to demonstrate....
(01.04.09)
pigs.
5. A hot dog stand there after last call
Ypip ,   Canada   (01.04.09)
holds great potential.
6. protests
Alexi   (01.04.09)
to all the peacenik-Rabin made a mistake as did Sharon. Rabin was tired but he didn't lie, he was reluctant. You saw the handshake. Sharon likewise in the gaza withdrawal. Israel shold make peace for peace, no land deals. Oterwise screw off you dumb bastards which includes Oz, beilin, ben amir, erekat, quieria.
7. Leftists
Leon ,   Grand Rapids USA   (01.04.09)
They are everywhere....opposing all wars, just and unjust simply as a knee-jerk reaction. They're not evil....only STUPID !
8. plo flags-- a DISGUSTING SHAME & LUNACY
AVRUM ,   canada   (01.04.09)
plo flags -- a real Shame & Lunacy which allows this INSANE event of PLO ENEMY FLAGS raisers. These ENEMY FLAG RAISERS people should be arrested for giving AID and COMFORT TO the ENEMY.
9. Leftist traitors result of post-Zionist education
APK ,   NY,USA   (01.04.09)
No other country would allow a demostartion against itself when the enemy is but a few miles away. This is the result of the education system of the post-Zionists. Send these traitors to Ramallah or Gaza. No difference.
10. leftists & arabs where are the people who care about israel
zionist forever   (01.04.09)
Leftists & MKs from arab parties, very independent voices whose primary concern is Israels security. Kikar Rabin is the right place to be holding this rally as its Rabins beloved oslo agreement that have brought us over a decade of misery because of Rabins fantasy. If they care about Gaza so much why not go there to hold their little solidarity rally, they can be with the people they care about so much.
11. Re #2. yes, some of you serve
Gaby ,   Boston, US   (01.04.09)
But many don't (e.g. Olmert's kids). But after serving you sell your contry for dirty Eurabian money.
12. to #3, not to #2
Gaby ,   Boston, US   (01.04.09)
sorry, my previous post was in response to #3, not #2
13. Not quite accurate?
Imshin ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.04.09)
A friend of mine who lives in the area went to see for herself. She said the anti-Israel demonstration was quite small and quiet. Commenters on Hebrew Ynet who were also there say the anti-Israel demonstrators were nearly all Arab.
14. To #13 yeah right Arabs and Chinese
George ,   Canada   (01.04.09)
15. Demonstrations in Gaza?
Hector ,   usa   (01.04.09)
They don't demonstrate in Gaza to protest firing of rockets into Israel.
16. Indecisiveness will bring nothing.
Avinoam ,   Tel Aviv   (01.04.09)
If we are at war we should aim to achieve our military goals with greatest efficiency and effectiveness. If we are in negotiations we should be prepared to compromise. This wishy-washiness is ridiculous. While we are at war the leftists should shut up, and let the military do its job. We have enough critics abroad. While we are negotiating peace the rightists should sit still and not create chaos in the territories. Our division is one of the biggest problems we face. Both war and negotiations are legitimate roads to finding peace eventually. Once we choose one we should stick to it, not wander in the wilderness in between.
17. demonstrations in Gaza?
jeremy ,   willimantic usa   (01.04.09)
Further to #15, can you imagine Hamas allowing demonstrators to wave Israeli flags? Though I attribute some blame for histoy of the situation to Israel and the US as well as the Palestinians, we must be proud of a democracy like Israel that allows such demonstrations.
18. Take all protesters to live in Sderot for a year.
Bunnie Meyer ,   Los Angeles, CA USA   (01.04.09)
19. let me guess-oh-it's the left!
Mark Katzman ,   San Francisco, USA   (01.04.09)
Of course-it's the left again-always the morally bankrupt left. They should've been alive in the soviet union so they could've enjoyed its hospitality (seeing as how they spout the party line). Actually, destruction of hamas will stop the rockets, throw a wrench in the plans of iran, hamas' sponsor and master, and prevent hamas from striking Dimona and Tel Aviv.
20. How proud I am of Israel. What an amazing country I live in.
Pamela Levene ,   Tel Aviv, Israel   (01.04.09)
Can you imagine any other country in the world allowing such demonstrations? Enemy attacks on a daily basis; thousands of missiles fired at innocent civilians. Finally we take action to protect them and some people actually protest! And are allowed to do so. Publicly. Loudly. With no restraint. And you know what? I think it is fantastic! They have the right to express their opinion and they are given that right. WELL DONE ISRAEL. If only the Palestinians had such freedom of speech. Then I am sure they would speak up against their corrupt leaders and call for peace. Sadly it will never happen.
21. ALWAYS THE SAME LEFTIST TRAITORS
(01.04.09)
22. potential Kadima voters are now Meeretz voters
zionist forever   (01.04.09)
23. Some in the Left have made allies with the devil.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (01.04.09)
The Left has betrayed its own principles of universal human rights and equality when it has put its lot with that of the Muslim Brotherhood, the Iranian Ayatollahs and their bagmen in Hamas and Hezbullah. More about correcness at : http://xrl.us/bi5da
24. Under the rockets.
Robert Bernier ,   Tel Aviv   (01.04.09)
One should be under the rockets in Sderot, just like all the other citizens of Sderot. and feel what it's like to be in Sderot and Ashkelon at these times, with the terrorists playing Russian rocket roulette with the lives of Israeli citizens. Israel should adopt a zero tolerance policy for rockets. Every rocket that flies from Gaza into Israel is a violation of UN Charter Article 51 - an armed attack giving Israel the full and complete right to proportional self-defense. Proportional doesn't mean equating lives; it just means that if they fire a rifle at you, you can't nuke them. It also doesn't mean that for every life taken, you can take one life, as the international community absurdly believes. It simply means that you don't react totally out of proportion, and neither do you look at the actual damage caused, but rather, you look at the risks of an attack. If each rocket can potentially kill 100 people, then just because they missed, it didn't remove the risk that had been there. Israel didn't have to wait until inevitably a rocket hits a school bus or a kindergarten or an ambulance; it can look at the risks, not just the actual consequences. We should adapt as described at : http://xrl.us/biz8x
25. It's easy to demonstrate in Tel Aviv. Do it in Sederot!!!!!!
Asher ,   NY, USA   (01.04.09)
26. Protesters
Tzippy   (01.04.09)
The greatest proof that Israel is a democracy is that there can be protesters against the government's actions. Why are there are no anti -Hamas protestors from the 1.5 million in Gaza?.....If Hamas is destroyed, there can finally be an arab democracy and the inhabitants of the Gaza strip will have won freedom from their terrorist government.
27. 6
zionist forever   (01.04.09)
Rabin was an idiot idealist not a realist. He knew Arafat could never end terror, the revolutionry image was the only thing that kept him in power Rabin should have also known making concesions and that Israel would be weakened politicly and the world would be behind the palestinian underdog so the man was a fool. Sharon made a strategic mistake based on a deal he made with Bush. The US would get off his back with Jerusalem and Judea & Samaria because he had to make a gesture to Abbas becase it had only been a matter of months since Arafat died. Israel giving up Gaza gave Bush an excuse to say he supported the advancing of the peace process. Gaza was costing us a fortune to protect 8000 jews surounded by 1.5 million hostile arabs. The political theory a god idea but the military tactics were wrong and a man like Sharon should have seen it coming. I would be interested to see what both Rabin & Sharon would say if they could see whats going on now because of the situations they created Gaza is proof that peace plans that work great on paper don't always work so great in practise and by then its to late.
28. Mental illness
(01.04.09)
The difference between the Israeli Leftists and Neturey Karta is…. only the appearance. Actually both, leftists and Neturey Karta, automatically support the enemies of the state of Israel. I would say that the act of sticking a knife in the back of their brothers points on a mental illness.
29. Leftism
Sagi ,   Israel   (01.04.09)
in all its manifestations is most definately an incurable mental condition.Sometimes the condition progresses to such a degree that a strait jacket is only a provisional answer to the problem. Euthenasia is a much better cure.
30. Doing nothing would prevent rockets launches ?????
trumpeldor   (01.04.09)
Leftsist delusion at its peak !
