For Olmert to tell Israeli soldier mothers that the invasion of Gaza was inevitable shows how devoid his mind is of novel solutions. When the killing of persons who have different world views from your own and innocents is acceptable to a government, it is bankrupt of humane solutions. By that definition, Israel will have to kill millions (maybe billions) of people around the world. Please just evacuate the occupied lands and give a peace a chance. I don't know whether the injustices done by Israel over the past 40 years can ever by forgiven by the Palestinians and the rest of the civilized world.
