I believe we DID do everything to avoid sending in our boys. But that doesn't ease the suffering of mothers. They cannot speak to their sons because they do not have cell phones with them. The not knowing is unbearable. Having recently been in that situation, and could be again very soon, my heart goes out to the mothers. Be strong, have faith and think only positive thoughts. It's so very very hard to comprehend the reality that we should be looking after our 18 year olds, not the other way around. My heart and my thoughts and my constant tears are all for you mothers and your sons. Be strong!

I believe this war was necessary and I stand by the government on this with no trouble. Just one point, how can Olmert talk like that when his children run away from military service and are not even in Israel?

Make our leaders understand that the disengagement was a failure and that we are not meant to give our land away only to have rockets fired from there.

Olmerd and gang must be shown the door ASAP after this war. As to the people, they want to live and to live lives and so they have decided they must fight. They show more courage than the leadership.
