That's exactly what should be done. Also, if the peace creeps at the UN had any sense they would not have protested against Israel cutting electricity and supplies to Gaza six months ago. That is also what should have been done. Indirectly, the UN is just as responsible for Israel having to take totally justified action with 'Cast Lead' as are the Gazans who voted for Hamas in the first place. Domestic pressure (like bulldozing houses) should have been implemented by Israel in the first place on these people. Go IDF.

It took less time to tear down Baruch Marzels house in the middle of the night with hundreds of Israeli policemen. If Israel had statred showing less mercy towards the terrorsits and more towards her citizens ,things would never have gotten this bad.
