Israel has to stop being captive of its concern for "public opinion" . All the world's politicians opine about Gaza, primarily serving their own career. They want to take credit for "enforcing a ceasefire", regardless of the results of that ceasefire. Israel has gotten into the dance-now it must dance until the end, and accomplish its goals-all of them, or it will never be able to do anything anymore. If Arab states want to help Palestinians, give them land and homes, and let them all have a better life in an Arab country, instead of the misery of small bits of land all over Israel. That would end the problem once and for all. Israel could pay lots of money for this solution, because the two-state idea is simply not viable. The ever-increasing Israeli and Palestinian populations on the same small present country is a guarantee of continuing wars and strife. Is that what the Arab states really want? I wonder....
