The Gazans overwhelmingly elected Hamas in a democratic mandate. We have heard extremely little from any supposed Gazans who are wholeheartedly opposed to the Hamas atrocities against Israel. Mrs. Aloni - you are welcome to negotiate a true and lasting peace with Hamas - but you've done nothing but jabber about it up to now, so maybe you are to blame for the current condition. Move to Sderot permanently and then talk. And what about Schalit - Israel released hundreds of prisoners recently - do you honestly think the government hasn't tried everything to get him back? What is Aloni talking about? The majority of Gazans support Hamas; a majority of the Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank voted for Hamas. The Palestinians CHOSE Hamas, knowing that Hamas uses suicide bombings against Israeli civilians, and knowing that Hamas stands for war mongering and conflict until Israel is destroyed.
