1. Ynet,my opinion:Please ,do not deepen too much the reports
Keren ,   Israel-SP   (01.06.09)
on our fallen soldiers. It hurts, and I don't think this is the moment Israel should feel increasingly very sad and emotional about our losts. I think so...
2. Our boys...
Talula ,   Israel   (01.06.09)
It's painful to read. It's worse than a knife through the heart. God rest your wonderful beautiful souls - heroes and protectors. You shall never ever be forgotten. My deepest heartfelt condolences to the families. I simply have no words to help you with your unyielding pain. My thoughts are with you...
3. So painful to read this

4. True Heroes. G-d bless their souls
Elly ,   Vienna, Austria   (01.06.09)
Those who die on the battle field are true heroes. May G-d bless their souls.
5. May their memory be a blessing
Sad Zionist ,   Miami, Florida   (01.06.09)
6. Ynet's duty as an Israeli website is to encourage the nation
Al   (01.06.09)
not to demoralize it with a blow by blow description of the dead. Yes we all grieve for their families for the lost lives, however we are at war and the soldiers at the front must be encouraged and held in high esteem. These stories must be toned down for all they do is weaken the resolve of the nation. Israel is in a war of survival..This is the 21 century war of '67. This is a defining moment..The entire nation must be encouraged and called upon to help in whatever way possible. I dont see on this website, the call for help that surely is needed at this time. We Jews in the golus help by sending money, by trolling the websites in our host countries to counter the anti-semites out there. We write to our elected officials explaining Israels position. All Jews who give a damn about the Jews of Israel are in this together. Ynet do your part and start being a website we can all be proud of. When those bloody rockets fall they dont chose the secular or the religious or the Haredi etc. They kill... We hope that G-d will comfort the living and ensure that our beloved fighters are victorious.
7. May their memories be blessed!
Am Yisrael ,   Israel   (01.06.09)

10. #1 Enough with you today
Talula ,   Israel   (01.06.09)
These soldiers and someone's child died protecting this country and you don't think ynet should 'deepen too much the reports' You are absolutely vile. Their names should be splashed across the entire country so everyone knows they died for their country and their family does not feel alone in their suffering. Why don't you just shut up - you are disgusting, you really are.
11. Children killers, they killed 100s of Palestinian kids
Houston ,   Texas   (01.06.09)
and still counting. They also attacked civilians and UN schools.
12. Thanx for the info
Sean ,   London   (01.06.09)
Its good to know that unlike the way palestinians view casualties as simple propoganda points we can put a bit of humaity and dignity to the fallen by giving some details about who they were and indeed still are. Am Yisrael Chai.
13. Sharing the sorrow
Goliath   (01.06.09)
Let us share the sorrow over the fallen soldiers. Israelis can feel the sorrow; Palestinians can feel the sorrow. Israeli soldiers have beloved families; Palestinian mujahidins have beloved families too. Then, let us talk with love and peace rather than with hatred and assault.
14. At least they chose to die
dina ,   WB   (01.06.09)
Soldiers know that death is a possibility when they chose to initiate war. What about the Gazan children who have no control over the destiney that your gov pathed for them? Do have any pity for them ? Or you guys are all just cold hearted? By the way this operation won't lead to peace it will just evolve a new generation who has nothing to lose after they lost everything, so they will revenge? Well Done Israel.
15. May the Almighty comfort the mourners...
Andrew ,   England   (01.06.09)
..among the other mourners of Zion and Jerusalem. Mourners, every single Jew around the world shares your pain. If one Jew is mourning, we all are.
16. Our lost family
philip h   (01.06.09)
My sons name is already Yonatan (Yoni). He has no middle name, but I will change this and will add "Nitai", Keren, we all just lost another member of our family, yes, its too much info, but I feel i need to know all this... PHILIP H
17. four worlds shattered
gabriela ben ari ,   jerusalem   (01.06.09)
Please G-d give comfort to their families and friends, this is too painful for them to bare WE owe you a debt that can't be repaid. May you rest in peace boys
18. Friend of Israel
lee ,   Malaysia   (01.06.09)
To all of the soldiers and their families, I pray that God will bless you in your search for peace and tranquility amid this very difficult time. While I may be living a peaceful life in our part of the world, I share with you the pain of having to fight so many wars in your 60 years of nationhood. Keep your spirit high and trust that Yahweh will always be with you.
19. You call them paliwood
(01.06.09)
What about this theater here ... you would joke on the Palistinians if they would write such report .... if the 600 killed Palitinians each one wrote such words to his or her family the internet will have no place for all and you would joke on them and call them paliwood ... now your israwood came out .... i feel i am in front of indian movies which the end the father is not the father and the mother was hiding the story and the enemey is the brother and so ... those 4 and the 600 Palistinians are victims of your system and your regims so let's pray for all not only for your 4 they were all humanbiengs and didn't choose what happend to them .... God bless them all
20. Olmert, stop this now!
Innocent Civilian   (01.06.09)
If you have 5 soldiers getting killed every 24 hours, how long will you stay in Gaza? We all know that you will leave Gaza, why not leave it before more of your boys are killed? It is true, the Palestinians feel pain, but the Israelis also feel pain. Who can hold out longer? Everyone knows that Palestinian endurance is 10X that of Israeli endurance. Please, end this bloodbath. Start negotiations with Mahmoud Abbas again. Open the Gaza crossing, and let both sides live in simultaneous peace. Don't you realize that force will not solve the problem?
21. prelude of retreat
observer   (01.06.09)
>>Olmert: We'll end Gaza op if arms smuggling, rocket attacks cease >>Barak: We knew it would be difficult >>Cpl. Yousef Muadi: Dad, you will be proud of me Please note!; the order of arrangement may be reversed.

29. Reply to #11
biber ,   telaviv, Israel   (01.06.09)
You dont have a right to judge anybody. You are staying a good life out there in houston, Texas. Come and stay in ashkolon and ashdod with your kids and face the rockets sent by hamas. Hamas is to be blamed for the death of the palestinian kids, Our soldiers lost their lives to give our children safe and peaceful life. May G-d bless their souls.
