If the Europeans wanted to really help Israel, they would have put forth some good efforts when Israel was counting rockets falling on its cities daily, without taking action against Palestinians. Instead, the Europeans and the Americans too, wouldn't even consider it news. Now that there are several dead Palestinians, all of a sudden they run about getting busy with peace and ceasefires. All they're doing is for the eyes of their Muslim populations, and to prove their "effectiveness" at defusing crises. They couldn't care less about Israel, which means, whatever they propose, will be done ineffectively and for a short time, leaving Israel in the hole again. Israel will just look totally ridiculous if it does not clean up the Palestinian situation for good-they are already in there and they must finish the job, just like the Russians did in Georgia: While everyone was spouting off against them, the Russians did what they had to do in Georgia, and did not leave until THEY knew they were good and done.
