Here in Israel I remember seeing lots of UN aid food and supplies being sold in Souks (open markets) in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem back in 1999 when Pals roamed freely within Israel. It just shows time and again that despite the aid they will denegrate themselves to the lowest common denominator - regular full-time welfare cases.

In addition, an elicit black market economy was created by Hamas - by creating a siege environment, you create excess demand - thus prices rise, and Hamas takes its cut. They already admitted this when saying that Israel cannot starve them of money. Hamas also oversees and "protects" smuggling tunnels. On all goods passing through, both Hamas and the tunnel owner take a cut of the over-priced items. So either you're blind as hell or just don't give Hamas that much credit.

You can find a few media outlets that do actually dare to report on Hamas' racist agenda and their abuses - but sadly they too are labeled as "Israeli" or run by "Zionists". Hamas is a disgrace and what Israel is doing is simply self-defence. How long would any country restrain itself from such attacks, day in day out, as Israel has done and believe that there may have been a glimmer of hope that the Dec cease fire would hold? Hamas is gutless using human shields in their 'fight' against the 'zionist' and it goes to show what a bunch of suckers the UN is in believing that Palestine is being unfairly targeted.
