1. Israel agressions
Muslim ,   Earth   (01.08.09)
An early advice to the Israelis to get in their boats and hit back to europe and America where they are suported, and leave the midle east were they have no chance of living in peace, because of thire Military State called Israel.
2. Good, go on fighting till your bitter end!
Inyaki ,   Bilabao, basque   (01.08.09)
3. I can't see a more clear message - why EU missing it?
William ,   Israel   (01.08.09)
""reject the presence of international forces or observers in Gaza, since this is aimed at defending the security of the occupation and reinforcing the blockade against the resistance."" In other words - the Pal terrorists want the right to re-arm with massive weapons and destroy Israel and its people. From where I come (reality) - this is against all international laws and human rights conventions.... yet....from Liberals and EU....silence
4. Mashaal. Another name for organic fertilizer
Gideon Reader   (01.08.09)
Cowardly short Putz loudly offers to hold the coats of those whom he bravely offered up to fight, while edging closer to the door and his big brother for escape and/or protection.
5. More dead Arabs
J K ,   NYC, USA   (01.08.09)
This is what Hamas' position will lead to. Hamas is willing to fight to the very last civilian in order to cling to power instead of doing something to show their people they can lead....which we know they can't.
6. Its a threat because it may lead to peace, not death
David ,   Boston, USA   (01.08.09)
The Hamas cancer just wants power and death, not peace. Thats why its in conflict. Arabs need to end the struggle against peace. Embrace it and the future. Israel was there before the Arabs and will be there longer than most Arabs states. Embrace peace and the future or suffer from your own hate.
7. Don't like it?
Jacob ,   UK   (01.08.09)
Then Hamas will have to be destroyed. Israel has no choice. It was obvious that Hamas would reject a ceasefire that would place their weapon smuggling operations under threat. Therefore Israel now has a valid reason to retake the Strip and topple Hamas. The likelihood of this happening with the current government in power is very low but Hamas have to dealt a severe blow which its has during the current military operation. But as the IDF said it needs more time to reach its objectives. Hopefully the end result will be the defeat of Hamas and a smack in the face of Iran. I will still support Israel 100% in it's attempts to defeat terror and bring peace to the South.
8. The arab mind, stop the aggression?
Yoni   (01.08.09)
After a series of wars to kill Israel then billions poured into a terror state that only exports terror the sociopathic arabs want Israel to stop the aggression? After careful study I have reconstructed this statement into western vernacular. What they are actually saying is "stop shooting back and let us slaughter Jews". Oh yes, we should open all our crossings to murderous arabs as if the Oslo war scheme didn't teach us any lessons? Israel will only be free from rockets and arab murderers when we give each and every one of these recalcitrant Arabian peninsula dwellers a one way ticket home!
9. palestinians ungovernable
mohson   (01.08.09)
the whole hamas in syria shows why they can never have a country. They are a bunch of unruly mafia layered over by islamic terror. Just one proof-hamas is killing more fatah than israelis.Israel has to use asymmetric to terrorize hamas, that's what they have to do--gas, ss-19 land rocket equivalents, human shields, flooding are starters.
10. Goody, these Hamas clowns are perfect Iranian stooges
Rod ,   Toronto, Canada   (01.08.09)
What a formula, take the civilian population hostage, make big theatre, and distract the world from Iranian nuclear arming.
11. reminds me of the 10 plagues
jacob ,   munich,Germany   (01.08.09)
they have to learn it the hard way
12. No problem.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (01.08.09)
The Gaza op will continue until you change your mind. We will have a ceasefire with the survivors, if any. And if there are no survivors, well, we get an even better ceasefire.
13. Perhaps when there are 6,700 dead Palestinians and 300,000
Murray of Montreal   (01.08.09)
injured ones, peace with Israel will make sense?
14. #1, Muslims, advice read some history books
David ,   Boston, USA   (01.08.09)
Jews are Native to Israel, not Europe. Arabs to Arabia. Its Jewish land that the Arabs are occupying. Go home to Arabia. End your occupation of the Temple Mount. There is phyiscal evidence everywhere that Muslims invaded Jewish land. Read some history books. IF you want from an genetic point of view, Jews are native to the area. so both genetically and through archeology, we are the native population. Others are just invaders.
15. Palestinian Cause?
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville, USA   (01.08.09)
The only "cause" the Palestinians have is to destroy Israel and cause as many innocent deaths as possible. They can't even agree on what topics to agree upon. Absolutely pathetic!
16. Read between the lines
Menashe ,   New York   (01.08.09)
The statement called for "a halt to the aggression, a withdrawal (of Israeli forces) without delay, lifting the blockade and opening the crossing points, especially at Rafah. OH YEH, WE ALSO DEMAND THAT ALL ISRALIS DIE, SO THAT WE CAN FINALLY GET WHAT WE REALLY WANT". They don't want Peace, they want PIECE, and lots of them -- of our land, of our children, or our tasty yummy Jewish blood.
17. comments ...
arab ,   arabland   (01.08.09)
here are your terms : Comments containing incitement, slander, racist slurs and inappropriate language deemed to violate our terms of use won't be published. I dont see anything in your comments except all of the above : slander, racism, insults ... how can I be a moderate arab !! should I ever believe in terms and conditions pur forward by a jew .. give us one example, you the strong nation in the region, backed by the strongest in the world. shouldn't the stronger be more just !
18. Khaled LAST hurrah !
Jan   (01.08.09)
The sacrifice, the death, the suffering,.........THE oxygen that keeps hamas fighting for survival. They relish the blood of their own children ( shown on the screen, the internet, in print, to world wide audience ),thereby sacrificing them to the altar of their merciful allah. The general population ?, just a by-product for their terrorist deeds. THEY (hamas), and only THEY benefited from the Billions $$ (it includes fatah)lavished by the ignorant, stupid, UN, US, UNRWA, EU, and others who claim to know better -- N.Korea, Darfour, Iran, Lebanon " en sont un temoinage "
19. Good, destroy Hamas!
Leah ,   Israel   (01.08.09)
20. #17 Arab in Arabland.
Terry ,   Eilat, Israel   (01.08.09)
Is that like Alice in Wonderland? Lighten up - I think you just can't realize how absolutely crazy, irrational, bonkers, stupid, & totally insane we find these statements from Hamas spokesmen or any of the other Islamic crazies. So naturally we poke fun at them. In your environment, statements like this one given by the Hamas crazy-man may sound normal but here, among the un-brainwashed, they sound pretty funny. The only thing we actually believe from these creeps is that they are sincere in their desire to kill us.
21. #14 to David from Boston: go back from where u came
Passerby   (01.08.09)
as well...Historically, the native inhabitants of USA were Indians. I am just following you logic. Israel is built on mythology: return to home land, but in reality, it is a return to a stolen land.
22. #1 Muslim - speaking of Military State
William ,   Israel   (01.08.09)
How did the Arabs stream across the ME and N. Africa 1300 years ago? It certainly wasn't with open arms cause Muslims cut them off of most people they oppressed by the sword. Remember this - 1350 years ago - there were NO Arabs or Islam in Israel and it was more peaceful back then. Time to get on your camels and help reverse this great historical wrong.
23. #17 - Arab - Speaking of being just
William ,   Israel   (01.08.09)
Back in 1920, wasn't it the Arabs who were stronger? Yet they dragged innocent Jews from their homes and massacred them in dozens of town both 1920 and 1929. These were unarmed residents who lived there for generations. Again, 5 majorly strong armies launch a genocidal war on lesser-armed and trained Jews. Shouldn't a stronger party like the Arabs help a distinct people like the Jews with self-determination? I thought that was a human right. Speaking of strong "justice" - how just are the actions of Turkey against the Kurds? Or Sudan against Darfurians? Or Iran against the B'hai who are constantly persecuted and have their cemeteries destroyed? Or Yemeni Muslims against the small quiet Jewish community? Or...Hamas against anyone they deem the opposition, a collaborator, or just plain expendable? The question is - after seeing the heinous acts by your brethren - how can you NOT be moderate?
24. #21 - a passerby with no sense of reality
William ,   Israel   (01.08.09)
"Built on stolen land" Really? And with all of these deeds for land sales the Jews have, which almost NO Palestinans have, one would think - you know, legally - that the land wasn't stolen. And, you know, since Israel was voted on by an international body - not like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, etc. which were just made up when the Brits began carving up the place for their friends - you would think it has MORE legitimacy. And since a war was fought and the losing party did threaten genocide, based on Intl Law, everything happened as it should. Hmmm.
25. Passerby, I wish you did but since
Dabosshog ,   Reality Land   (01.08.09)
You did not just passby you spat here is this for you. First of all Mythology is not what the historical fact is based on. There is physical evidence. You know like the walls of the big pimple in Jerusalem the goldhead. Your hatred and stupidity should just pass on by. You have no credibitly here.
26. Some one should tell him seat BABA and shut up
sam ,   iran ,tehran   (01.08.09)

27. what a strong will
(01.08.09)
with all what they had and sufferd still they don't give up and they prefer to fight and to die for their land ... who call those terorists ??? they are heros they are fighting not for money or power but the future of their children which you mean to kill alot from them because you are afraid from a new Palistinian generatio can be stronger than those now .... chapau for those honored men and God bless their victims .
28. Hamas wants more war...give it to them.
Bennie ,   Jerusalem   (01.08.09)
What truce? Hamas never stopped firing rockets or smuggling weapons anyway.
29. #1
Arthur ,   Houston, TX   (01.08.09)
I received this e-mail, Recently At the United Nation debating the Israeli incursion in to Gaza, the following happened The Israeli Ambassador at the U.N. began, "Ladies and gentlemen before I commence with my speech, I want to relay an old Passover story to all of you ... "When Moses was leading the Jews out of Egypt toward the Promised Land, he had to go through the nearly endless Sinai desert. The people became thirsty and needed water. So Moses struck the side of a mountain with his staff and a pond appeared with crystal clean, cool water. The people rejoiced and drank to their hearts' content. "Moses wished to cleanse his whole body, so he went over to the other side of the pond, took all of his clothes off and dove into the cool waters. Only when Moses came out of the water, he discovered that all his clothes had been stolen. 'And,' he said, 'I have reasons to believe that the Palestinians stole my clothes.'" The Palestinian delegate, hearing this accusation, jumps from his seat and screams out, "This is a travesty. It is widely known that there were no Palestinians there at that time!" "And with that in mind," said the Israeli Ambassador, "let me now begin my speech."
30. Yeah Hamas, go for it,
