I think you'll find the majority of Americans across the political spectrum support Israel. And for some who may have not been quite so steadfast, the sight of groups of Palestinians celebrating the attacks of 9/11 probably helped to convince them which side they ought to be rooting for. In fact, I've met people who say they probably couldn't have located Israel on a map until that day (and several of them had no interest whatsoever in what the bible has to say on the subject), but everything changed for them when they realized that this was what you Israelis have been living with for all these years.

This is the only way to eliminate terrorists. Israel knew this a couple of years ago and that is why they had to protect their people and relocate them outside of Gaza. This was only a temporary move - the prophet Obadiah says Israel will destroy the terrorists and will regain control of Gaza. It will once again flourish under Israel control. I hated for Israel to force their people to relocate a couple of years ago but realized it was so the prophecies of Obadiah could take place.
