I was there and it was very powerful. I heard about it accidentally and the reason I felt attracted to it was becuase it was not a demonstration AGAINST, but a demostration FOR - For the fact that it is possible to live together and for the feeling that the solution lies in coming together - not in adding more and more separation. Most of the responses from passing vehicles were positive which was heart warming.

That is why my friends in Israel must eliminate the suicidal mass murdering death cult called Hamas. Once all the sick murderers who committed the passover massacre and blew up an old woman in Dimona are eliminated the world can start hoping for peace. It will be tough, but it looks like we are on the road to peace.

The more we could make the Israeli-Arabs feel close to Jewish Israelis, and a part of this country - the better. And if the rally is peaceful and not disrupting traffic, if there is no burning of Israeli flag and no inciteful rhetoric over there, then why not - we're a democratic country. They , as everyone in the world , want a bright future for their children . We Israeli Jews don't want our children and grandchildren to have to fight and fight . We ALL want to live in peace . Most of you don't know what it means to live in peace , they had'nt this experience i've enjoyed while living in West Europe . All sounds good, but it was Yassir Arafat that did not agree to the above offered to him at Camp David because he wanted all of Jerusalem too and got nothing. How quickly the Palestinians forget. Furthermore, the Gazan population is not an innocent bystander. They voted for Hamas democratically, a representative whose known and proudly stated aim is the killing of Jews with suicide bombers and the destruction of Israel. Proportinality in this war would mean the destruction of Gaza. If anything in Gaza is spared then the Israelis were being good to the Gazan's.
