Compassion for those who are killed or injured especially civilians whilst in the midst of a just and necessary war is not a contradiction, but it definitely has to be held in check. These self same civilians who democraticaly (sic) elect a vicious and uncompromising enemy have to accept the consequences. The emotional threats and opinions of the Aran/Islamist nations and our friends from Scandinavia together with the UN now dominated by the Arab block have to be ignored out of the simple expediant of Israeli self preservation. Strength may not be liked by the worlds biased media but its reality is grudgingly admired and is accepted for what it is; the right of any nation to defend itself even though this means the absolute destruction of an enemy and its supporters.
