for arabs in gaza who think it's their right to get resources such as water gas and electricity from israel? i would say boycotting is not as constructive as teaching the gazans how to group socially to provide for themselves, the way israelis have done from the begining. only then israel got true recognition from other countries such as the US. but seems arab way of thinking is destructive rather then constructive. it's been 3 years since israel drew it's forces out from gaza because of gazan right for self determination. seems that self determination included firing at will from within gazan population at israelis. if gazans had economical problems, they could solve it in other ways, rather then posing an ongoing threat to israel. israelis who employed palestinians and palestinians such as those who sold their goods in israel suffered economical damages because of hamas militarism, that caused israel to close it's borders with gaza, for threats of terrorism in israel. those that say israel supports apartheid are no other then a large group of people in support of the country's enemies at war. they expect the rest of the population that defend their homes to finance them, as well as die for the country in which we all live. more over, this minority do not have to serve in the army, so instead of thanking the rest of the population for defending them as well, they accuse them with apartheid. if they want to have the right for self government, like in medieval europe , when cities had self rule, then why is it that they keep claiming their right to get roads, hospitals, schools, electricity, infrastructure etc etc. from israel? no wonder israelis see this call of injustice as a shameless inaccurate propaganda by arab people who want to eliminate the very source they draw their livelihood from

As an American who can't get their govt to listen to them re: Israel and the Palestinians, the only nonviolent option left is to try to boycott all Israeli products and to encourage family and friends to do the same. Will start with the pharmacy.

Both have agreements with the US requiring that goods must contain a certain percentage of Israeli content if they're to enter duty free. So they'll keep buying those goods or they'll hurt their own exports. Then again, we see in Gaza how they'll sacrifice their own well-being if they can pursue their war against Israel.
