My college friends truly believe that as a means of achieving peace in the Mideast and the world, that they should refrain from any response to Hamas rocket attacks. In other words, the entire world would be a safer place if the Israelis took the high road and just suffered a relaively few deaths per year as their contribution. Hamas is smart enough to hide among civilians, so there is obviously no way to get them out without unacceptable losses and world condemnation. We would like to know why Israel won't accept such small losses in the name of peace?
