2. WHY DID ISRAEL LEAVE GAZA?
dave ,   uk   (01.16.09)
It's been just total chaos and a complete mess since Israel left gaza in 2005. Someone please explain to me again why Israel left gaza!!??
3. Kadima is deliberately withholding the IDF from victory
Rami ,   London   (01.16.09)
The IDF can stop these rocket attacks in just a few minutes. However, the politicians are more concerned with the so-called civilians (the ones who are hiding the rockets under their sofas for Hamas) than they are about Israelis' lives. Why is that? Because they believe they are humanists. However as the Tanach says "the mercies of the wicked are cruelty" and in the process these clowns have worsened the rocket attacks.
4. Attention Ynet!
Anne K ,   Petach Tikva   (01.16.09)
These are NOT "gunmen". They are Palestinian terrorists. What is the matter with you? Are you too scared or too politically correct to call them what they are?
5. DEATH TO HAMAS!!!

6. The end of the secular Jew
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.16.09)
Once again we see the failed left snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in their failure to send a crushing blow to Hamas. They are quick to voice their weakness and capitulation to the enemies of Israel. The defeatist parties of Kadima and Labor who have no faith in God quickly succumb to Hamas and outside pressure to end this before there is any real victory. Hamas remains firm knowing Israel's godless leaders always bends and retreat ,having no moral compass or foundation they are willing to stand on. They are so easily seduced and bought off. Nothing but empty words from these secular Jews who have shown their weakness and capitulation time and again in the face of pressure. The Gilad Shalits and Jonathan Pollards suffer at the hands of such worthless leadership who cannot stand for anything but fall for everything. May this be the end of the faithless Jew who trusts in lies and delusion instead of Hashem.
7. Failed Operation...
Marwan ,   Qatar   (01.16.09)
Hehehe, you should call it operation Cast Silk or Cast Furr or Cast Cotton. After 21 days, rockets still hit your cities and towns...I think you celebrated your victory too early and the irony is seeing your Gilad going and coming from Egypt seeking a truce!!! a truce!!! with whom!!! with Hams!!!...you are really nuts...Hehehe
8. More rockets
kemp ,   Nahariya , Isr   (01.16.09)
..and we are going to accept the most absurd terms for peace. "Defeat santched from the Jaws of victory "Hamas scores a victory in the South as Hizbullah did in the North.
9. 20 days and israel can not finish with Hamass
Akram ,   NY, USA   (01.16.09)
It seems that israel is realy weakening, in 67 israel defeated all the arab armys toghether in 6 days... And the BIG PROBLEM for israel now is that the arabs and muslims around now knows israel is not the same of 67, specialy after the last lebanon war that israel lost arabs and muslims now think that they can defeat it in a well organazed guerrila war in a very near future...
10. Israwood
(01.16.09)
This pic i think i saw it in the movie The Last Day .... too late now to try to show the world how poor you are , in this picture there is not one drop of blood but the Palistinians pics full of witnesses for your crimes , anyhow after all who you killed and the disaster you caused in Gaza and still they makes you running away and hide your self like this ... how heros and strong those Palistinians .
11. I feel your hands shaking when you are writing now
(01.16.09)
I feel the fear in your eyes and how your hands shaking during writing , the same feeling you hade 2 years ago in Lebanon .... it's nice to see that fear in your eyes which you have it because of some weak rockets beside what you are throwing over Gaza since 3 weeks .... Chapau to the Palistinians heros all the time , 60 years you are killing them and treating them like animals and they are still fighting and not afraid from your arsenal or better call it the Ameican arsenal you have .

13. To #6
M. Hartley ,   Atlanta, US   (01.16.09)
One day, the weather channel issued severe flood warnings. A very religious man started to pray, asking God to keep him from harm. As predicted, the flood waters came and with it a firetruck offering to take the man to safety. He declined, insisting that God will save him. The water crept higher and higher until it reached the 2. story window. At that point, a rescue boat came by and offered to take the man to a shelter. He graciously declined again, stating that he put his faith in God who would surely spare him. Before long, the good man was sitting on his roof, fervently praying, while the water was lapping at his feet. When a helicopter came by, he again refused to be rescued, still insisting that he'd rather put his faith in God. Needless to say, the flood waters swept him away and he drowned. When he met God, he wanted to know why He let him perish. God sat him down and somewhat impatiently pointed out that “I sent a firetruck, a boat, and a helicopter for you, but you stubbornly turned down all of them.” The moral of the story: Praying is fine and dandy, but don't refuse the gifts with which God has blessed you when it comes to saving your hide.
14. Ceasefire for Hamas? NO!
Stefan ,   Atlanta USA   (01.16.09)
Make Hamas surrender! The world didn't ask Germany for a ceasefire in WWII. The US didn't settle for a ceasefire with Japan in WWII and peace was achieved. BUT the US settled for a ceasefire in Vietnam and in Korea and we're still fighting 30 years later. The US settled for a ceasefire in the first Gulf war and Sadam continued to kill thousands. Israel has settled for ceasefires before and the fighting continues. This time Israel should see it through and demand Hamas surrender.
15. Israel, the weak one
Esam ,   Tel Aviv   (01.16.09)
this is the day that we see Israel when it can't defeat some groups of people "Hamas",,, poor Israel what happened to you, you weren't but you are now,,, you are so weak and weaker than we thought,,, you want to destroy Hamas,, but it seems, that Hamas will destroy you
16. Don't exit Gaza until the rockets stop!

17. #9 20 Days And Counting
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (01.16.09)
Unlike Hamas, if Israel had not been trying to prevent civilian casualties or trying to respect schools, daycare centers, hospitals and mosques Hamas would have been eliminated in 48 hours.
18. #7 Failed Operation
Bill Foonman ,   Jacksonville USA   (01.16.09)
Speaking of "failed operations" one can only wonder what this poor misguided soul was like before the lobotomy.
19. You are right #7
Leon ,   Los Angeles, Ca   (01.16.09)
it's time to take off the gloves and punish Gaza "arab style" like Asad's campaighn against muslim brotherhood ( when they bombed their own city and killed tens of thousands) why use precise ammunition? IT IS "cast silk". well there is always the next time for the stupid ones.
20. Level one square kilometer of gaza buildings
jason white ,   afula,israel   (01.16.09)
each day with no warnings. Kill the civilians! Kill them and stop sending or allowing food, fuel and medicine in. No more gazans to be treated in our hospitals. Crush the palis till they surrender totally.
21. Do You Know Kiryat Gat ?
Abdel Karim Salim ,   Jerusalem - ISRAEL   (01.16.09)
Before and during the 1948 war in Palestine there was an arab city called " Al- Faluja " which, during that war, was firmly controlled by Egyptian army garrison under the command of the Egyptian-Sudanese brigadier "Mohamed Sa'id Taha"(The Tiger) who repulsed all Jewish figters' attempts to take the city. But according to the articles of the 1949 Rhodes Truce Agreement the Egyptian army had to pull out of the city and thus Jewish fighters were able to take it and change its name to "Kiryat Gat "... As for the Israeli offensive against HAMAS in the Gaza Strip what I can see is that Israel is excessively using its air force and artillery against civilian targets in an effort to influence HAMAS to give in as a result of huge civilian casualties. The Israeli infantry, paratroopers, and armor are still avoiding trying to push into the heart of densely-populated cities and towns in the Strip for fear of suffering enormous losses and casualties that would stir the Israeli society to its very depth.I am not surprised. After all in the 1973 Yom Kippur War the IDF could not take "Suez" city and preferred to lay siege to it just like what the IDF did in the 1982 Peace For Galilee War when the IDF could not take "West Beirut" as long as the PLO was there, and preferred to besiege that city for some 3 months. To sum up : in a hand-to-hand and face-to-face combat the IDF would suffer inconceivable losses...
22. Are you having fun yet!?!?!?
IRAN#1   (01.16.09)
HAHAHAH!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy the rockets, suckers........
23. Why should the IDF suffer unnecessary
Anspacher   (01.17.09)
losses? To prove they're bigger and badder then Hamas? That's ridiculous. Why shouldn't they use air power? Here's the reality ... 20 million Jews in the world and over a billion Muslims - we care about life so why waste it fighting scumbags stupidly when we can accomplish the same ends smarter. We call that a "yiddeshe cup"
24. u think u can beat us?
lol ,   holland   (01.17.09)
we'll c u laugh when ur in ur grave losers
25. #21 Abdel Karim
Tahl ,   Ashdod, Israel   (01.17.09)
First of all, we Isrealis are nothing but cowards, and managed to win some important battles on the ground. The capturing of Latrun in the Independence War, the re-capturing and crossing of the Suez Canal and in the 1973 Yom Kippur war (which for some reason deluded Egyptians believe they won), the capturing of the Beaufort in the Lebanon War, to name a few examples. Still, unlike you death-worshipping Arabs, we Israelis see no reason to sacrifice our soldiers in a worthless battle, if we can simply win by making a siege, or bombing the place from the air. What matters is the bottom line - did we win or not? Who cares how we won. And if we managed to spare our lives in the process (and our enemies' lives too), by not stepping into some booby-trapped buildings and avoiding stakeouts - then it's all the better. And you know what? We could have easily done what the Allied forces did to Dresden, or what Russia did in Grozny, or what NATO did in Serbia - you should be grateful we didn't!
