I am reminded of the Muslim Brotherhood uprising in Hama, Syria in the early 1980s. Muslim Brotherhood, as many know, spawned Hamas.
Assad's father, Hafez al-Assad put the uprising down with such brutality, the city of Hama was razed to the gound and tens of thousands of its residents were slaughtered!
What happened in Syria was a crime, the likes of which has never been seen before in the Middle East, nor after.
