Terry I fully agree with you but would go much further. A natural byproduct of war is the polarization of populations. You are forced to choose which side you are on. In this case the choices are quite clear. The Israeli govt's first priority is to protect the safety of its people - not that of the enemy. That is the responsibility of the HAMAS govt. The Israeli army should make a "reasonable" effort not to harm innocent civilians. But the reality of Gaza is that there are few innocent civilians. Either HAMAS uses their civilians as human shields or as intentional victims to derive PR value through sending photos (many photoshopped to maximize PR value) to Al Jazeera to diseminate the those with twisted morality choosing terrorists over their victims (ie 8 years and 10000 rockets show that people of Sderot and surroundings are the real victims here). Furthermore, HAMAS again showed their true colors by shooting people associated with Fatah at their first opportunity. In many instances Israel warned terrorists (stupidly I might add) that their house was to be bombed allowing them to escape. The terrorists then solicited people to act as human shield and stand on roof. Anyone doing so is no longer a bystander but an active combatant and subject to justifiably being killed regardless of age or gender. The bottom line is that HAMAS and the terrorists do not respect ANYONE's LIFE OR ANY RULES OR DECENCY. Therefore they are not entitled to ANY consideration and should be summarily executed with the only exception being to capture them for the purpose of extracting (any way necessary) all tactical information needed to defeat and destroy the terrorist enemy. Anyone who aid the terrorist enemy and their supporters should be considered an enemy with all due punishments, etc.

It is totally beyond belief, given the absolute best set of circumstance, that the three stooges, Olmert Livni and Barak, could unconditionally surrender to the terrorist while we were on our way to victory and achieving our goals fully. The time draws near and every Israeli must vote for the safety and security of ALL Israelis and show unity with our brothers and sisters in Sderot, Ashdod, Beer Sheva, and anywhere else under terrorist fire. We must throw out our current garbage and install those who will lead with honor, decency, valor, and morality and who will put the safety of our citizens above all else. We just saw the parades of HAMAS celebrating their "victory", their shooting Fatah people in the legs, and their firing mortars at us. Our govt. failed in Operation Cast Lead just as they did in Lebanon 2 when Hezbollah claimed victory. This is a unilateral ceasefire that should never have been. We must first fix our govt. and then respond exponentially to the rockets that will be fired at us. But the next time with a new govt. the outcome will be much different.
