Hamas will only be weakened if there arises an HONEST party to put the interests of the people first. Fatah just doesn't seem to be able to clean its own house. The Palestinians would flock to an honest secular party. Few want the religious fundamentalism that goes with Hamas.

Hamas and Hezbola are really Iranian henchman. Both are being financed, armed and trained by Iran. There will never be peace for Israel or prosperity for Palestine if Hamas runs Gaza. Hamas has shown no regard for citizens in Gaza. They use the Palestinian people as human shields. The last thing Iran wants is peace and prosperity in Palestine. Lebanon does not want war with Israel but there is no way around it if Iran continues to build up troop levels and weapons in Lebanon.
