31. Antisemitism - what it truly is to nr 17 plus others
Alexander ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.31.09)
1)Discrimination of Jews 2)Demonization of Jews 3)Double standards against Jews 4)Delegitimization of Jews 5)False accusations against Jews. If people claim they "like" or "love" Jews and yet deny Jews the right to live, defend themselves and uphold, protect, maintain and defend Jewish/Israeli lives, civil rights, individual rights, human rights, national rights, territory, borders, air space, waters, safety, security, independence and sovereignty, historical rights to its ancient homeland, having and enjoying equal treatment among the nations, having a majority of its own people within defensible borders which are the minimum requirements for the existence of a nation state, I would like to question on what basis this "friendship" to Jews is based on. A true friend never stands in your way unless you are going down. And by the way, what on earth has Turkey got to do with it? If Turks are indifferent to Arabs - in reality Turks raped and slaughtered the Middle East for 5 to six centuries - Turks should stay out and shut up after the genocide on Armenians and Kurds. Turkey has no moral lessons to teach Israel. And to nr 17: If Turks are indifferent to Arabs, then remain indifferent. And if you care so much about Arab suffering, you should ask why Sunnites and Shiites are killing each other in THOUSANDS in Iraq and why Arabs have killed 12 million Arabs since 1948. And for your information, Tel Aviv cannot deal with Ankara because the capital of Israel is Jerusalem. But if you want to Jerusalem can deal with Istanbul if you know what I am trying to imply here. When has "Palestine" ever existed in recorded human history? Turks occupied Minor Asia and destroyed Byzantium and renamed Constanineople into Istanbul, so who is the occupier here? Good try, but you can't fool people smarter than you.
32. To nr 30 - You are barking the wrong tree
Alexander ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.31.09)
The Arab population inside Israel and Gaza, Judea and Samaria has risen 1000% since 1948, meaning 10 times. Gazans are getting food, water, energy and electricity from Israel. But Hamas are sending rockets into Ashqelon that supplies Gaza with energy. Hamas is pretty smart ey? Tell me, when in recorded history has a "Palestinian" civilization ever existed and what kings, dynasties, languages, alphabet, currency, borders, territory, capital, state, kingdom and neighbors did they have and when and where did this "Palestine" supposedly exist? Because "Palestine" is as real as Harry Potter and the Lord of The Rings. Inside Israel, Arabs enjoy political freedom - Arabs can even sit in the Knesset and spread hatred of Jews and Israel and openly support Israel's enemies and a Mosque is unfortunately standing on the Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem. I would like to see if Jews could sit in Arab parliaments and express hatred to Arabs and build synagogues and temples on the holiest site in Mecka and Medina and other mosques in the Arab world. So if you want to speak of human rights maybe you should get a good at yourself in the mirror. Good bye.
33. I hate you, Avraham NYC, not Turks

34. When will Turkish Kurds have the rights of Israeli Arabs?
Serge ,   Montreal, Canada   (02.03.09)
35. #34 Kurds and Israeli Arabs comparison?
(02.03.09)
6 out of 10 presidents in Turkey were Kurdish and they all also served as PM. How many Israeli Arabs have served as PM and Presidents in Israel? That would give Israelis a heart attack! There have been several Kurdish political parties in Turkey some of which openly defends the PKK. Would Israeli Arabs dare to defend Hamas in Knesset? There is no miltary service separation between Kurds and Turks in Turkey, in Israel if anyone who serves in the army all his family gets paid social fee, so almost all Israeli Arabs are not paid that. Remember Rabin's rule? Kurds can serve anywhere in the army, government, etc.. Ethnic roots are out of question when you are hired in Turkey. How many of IDF's top generals are Israeli Arabs? Shall I carry on? Or, you are already embarrassed of your ignorance by now?
36. Ignorance is gift of non-readers
Traverse ,   Istanbul   (02.06.09)
In addition to the comparison of Kurdish with Israeli Arabs, (actually you cannot compare) as I am one of them, Turkey is our land, our country in which we will defend it eternally and is the place I make my living. Kurds never were subjected to any discrimination. You Jews are not allowing Arabs to make a living in fact you want them die. What kind of mentality is willing or have tendency for such thing. You should put your head between your arms and think what you are saying or what you are comparing. And don't relate your unjust cause to Kurds or Armenians.
37. Turks & Jews should always be friend
Murat Aktas ,   Frankfurt/Germany   (02.06.09)
Jews are living in Turkey for more than 500 years and are part of the Turkish Republic. I feel ashamed reading articles about Jews that have to live under threat. Shame on you AKP. Shame on you Erdogan !! I want my Mustafa Kemal back !
