#23 is absolutely correct. My family escaped from Syria in 1931. Persecution of Jews in Arab lands began before 1948. Arabs have developed a habit of blaming everything on Israel and using Israel as an excuse for their failure. Jews didn't make trouble in Europe nor in Arab lands. Transjordan changed its name into Kingdom of Jordan in May of 1946. SO David, there is no love lost when the West Bank Arabs move over to their Homeland called the Kingdom of Jordan -- it was especially created for the Arabs. OR they can stay in the West Bank (i.e. Judea & Samaria) but under Israeli rule. IF the Arabs wants to live peacefully in the West Bank they can remain there -- if not, they should move over to their Homeland called Kingdom of Jordan. The Kingdom of Jordan (the queen of it is a Palestinian) is 89,340 sq km (45,500 sq mile) with only 6,2 million inhabitants -- so, there is ENOUGH space there for ALL the West Bank Arabs. While Israel has ONLY 29,900 sq km (15.200 sq mile) with 7,2 million inhabitants.

If we could leave peace negotiations to the people and sideline the politicians there might be more hope of success. The inspiring story of the people of Na'alin staging a Holocuast exhibit, and speaking of moving towards peace together is one we should all take to heart. There are many other examples of people to people cooperation between Israelis and Palestinians, not least in hospitals where they work and are treated side by side. These are what should be getting the publicity and be being fostered by visiting diplomats and would-be peacemaers, but sadly, as always, good news does not make the headlines
